This Years Wasp Count.

Featured Replies

Can hold my hand's up that iv'e only killed two this year, I think with the bumper orchard crop and a warm Autumn, I might reach double figures.

Light this year, for sure

Good

they're cunts

more bees is what we want

I’ve killed thousands up to now.

not bragging in anyway. I work in Pest Control. Been a good year up to now. Best as yet to come.....

Been quite a lot; certainly when I was away; loads flying in the cottage.

Always try to catch them and release them back outside.

Rat- do you nobble wasp nests for domestic customers?

Seems every year, one or two of my gardening customers get one.

Possibly 3 this year.

If so, pm me some details please, I may be able to give you some future work.

Got 6 in a pint glass at Spoons.

Got stung by 1 little bastard in me garden.

Terminated it and 2 of its mates .

Just chased a big bugger out if my kitchen with a tin of pledge.

Three of us guided one out of the chocolatiers in Ludlow.

No daft arm waving, but by making yourself seem like a barrier, it chose to head out.

Intelli-wasp.

I'm not keen on them, but I never understand those people who absolutely freak out when they see one, and start flapping their hands and running around as though a hungry tiger had just been released

Aye it just makes you more likely to get stung as you've pissed off the little cunt.

One landed on the sprogs head, tried to bat it away without giving her a crack, she cottons on what’s happening she freaks out , the dog goes mad, I’m trying to stop my daughter jumping in the reservoir to avoid it , the dog is going in the other direction, I’m the one that gets stung (Didn’t realise how much they hurt)  and the passers by must have thought I’m a lunatic.

all in all, all wasps are cunts

never been stung before. always berated folk that screamed a wasp.

then last week, a little fuck got me!

christ on a bike! it hurt.

JSL

One came in earlier and landed on some fruit.

Fuckers better be careful of they'll be fermented.

Do pissed up wasps act more aggressively 🤷‍♂️

Yes. I believe they do. Where's Rat to confirm.

Yep. Two got trapped in the sleeve of my shirt in a beer garden a few years ago. Had about six blisters on my bicep from where they stung me. Fucking hell that was painful

trying to polish it off no doubt😉 i'll get my coat

Dobbins Field around 1963. Sat on what looked like a mound of grass which (amazingly to me as I thought they only built them in elevated positions) turned out to be a wasps nest. Had to run all the way home with the fuckers swarming after me. From memory over 100 stings in places you would never believe (even up my arse crack!). My grandmother spent ages plucking stings out with tweezers.

Hate the little bastards and kill any one I come across (they have arrived in Oz by the way). Only ever had one other sting that I know was definitely a wasp and that was on a beach on the Costiera Amalfitana. I stood on the fucker by mistake and killed it but it left its sting just where the undeside of one of my big toes joins the foot. That really did hurt but sea water calmed it down almost immediately.

Kill every one you find. Fuck ecological balance - exterminate!

Wasp dont leave the sting in pal, more likely a bee's nest. Although wasps do nest in the ground as well.

Would they have been hornets then? Always thought they were wasps but happy to be corrected. Certainly not big fluffy bumble bees whatever the fuck they were.

Might be wrong, but I think a bee sting has a bit of a barb thing which means it stays in. Bee cops for it as a result.

Wasps are cunts and can keep coming back for more.

Hornets don't leave the stinger either, all part of their plan to inflict as much pain and suffering as possible.

I ended one this morning with febreze. Took it right out of the air, then squashed its little face with a slipper.
