Sam will become England manager soon enough and.... I know who is being groomed for the position. Loose lips and all that.... but let's put it this way, he speaks very good Spanish (you didn't think he had come for the weather did you?).

Salva Ballesta?

Campo had loose lips after the Speed clash until the surgeon fettled them.

nah not avin it.

1st of all sam will NEVER be england manager playing the way he does.

The NATION would go crazy, including half of you/us lot, if england played like that.

Hierro as a manager? i doubt it, browny's next bolton manager as long as sam dunt take him with him...

Do you really think the Bolton board would allow the Allardyce era of unbridled progress to be f??cked up by Phil "Tantastic" Brown within one season?

I think Brown would be the man.

It ain't just Sam - its all the stuff he's done behind the scenes with the technology and medical side of it. If we get a new man in he's more than likely got his own ideas of how things should be done. At least Brown will have been part of setting up the backroom and more likely to keep it.

All true football fans and football managers with some sense will see how well SA is doing!

Browney won't go straight from being no 2 to being manager. We've got far more sense than, say, Southampton. And with the amount of money spent on all the backroom stuff (and its proven success), whoever did come in wouldn't be allowed to ditch it.

Does it not seem straightforward that Hierro will be next in line?

A la Gullit / Vialli at Cheski.

speed maybe, not hierro though

According to Gartside at the London Whites meeting on friday Brown is most deffo not the man

explain?

Let's just say they appear to anticipate Browny's career progressing elsewhere.

Oh and they're going for the FA Cup.

And Sam was up for Newcastle; and they were so up for him that they tapped him up in Spain even after he'd rejected them.

i did hear that browny wants to be a manager, and the next viable job that appears he'll be in for...

if he was up fer toon, why he reject?

Cant see Hierro becoming manager, he's only been with us half a season

Like I say, the implication was that its not just that Browny wants to go but that the club want him to...

As for the Toon job I dont know why he didnt do it in the end; but following him abroad and badgering him in the hotel does sound like illegal moves to me. Mind you, they all do it.

EG actually went, so I'm sure she can provide further gossip...
