Not taking Everton surviving at their expense lying down Burnley & Everton have raised the issue of Everton's continuously high debt over the past 4 seasons.

Though Everton are claiming the £170m debt on top of over £300m the 3 years prior is due to covid losses the £170m is 3 times higher that comparable clubs.

Will the Premier League have the nuts to engage ?

Even if tjey do can they arrange it in time ?

The premier league will fudge it and nowt will happen.,

They will just whack them with an embargo same as they did with Chelski.

 

For me, there isn’t an issue if clubs want to spend big money.

The problem comes when the owner is fed up with his toy and wants to re-claim some/all his loan. The FFP levels should be the limit they can go up to and call it a loan - anything above is a gift. Yon mon at Derby bought the stadium to get around ffp while trying to buy his way to the prem. He should gift it back to the club and write off the £25m for being a tit in the first place

Reading the article, I think it is more of why are Everton attributing over a £100million to covid losses, when other teams seem to be around £50-60million, unless you are hiding something, sod em though, I hope they get done for it

I reckon fans of whoever Everton are playing away should be allowed to let off fireworks all night outside their hotel, fairs fair.
