  1. None of us can really know what has gone on with ED. For all we know, he may have said three years ago "I am out of here at the end of 2015" and a combination of incompetency, ego and bluff-calling (he'll never pull out because he is a true fan) from the current management team has resulted in the current situation. Not sure you can build a business model anyway on the long term benevolence of an elderly man living offshore with the scale of losses we have been experiencing. It was bound to end badly unless we cut our cloth or found new owners with a similar outlook. Division 1 if we survive won't be that bad. First started following BWFC when down in Div 2 and that for me is still the best of times since I have been an active supporter
  2. Agreed but it shortens the odds and that BNP vote has gone somewhere - look at the numbers. it 's the company you keep.
  3. Probably a UKipper now that racism has gone legit again.
  4. It's me who's responsible - shit fan who hadn't been for ages - 200 miles away etc. Mother in law poorly in Heaton so go to both Watford and Dingles and personally tee off winning run. Saturday - flew to India (regular trip for me) and in 20 trips have never got to Bangalore, switched phone for score and seen a win or even many draws until yesterday. Epic but still can't get access to highlights as wifi criminally dodgy.
  5. Just after the C4 shockfest, Maxine Peake was referencing her visits to Burnden in The Silk with coincidently a gay footballer story line.
  6. Wooing techniques in Serbia - always worked for me! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnLqhtZD4DE
  7. Presumably Sasa has lured her into his lair
  8. Sadly died last night - hurts me but good luck Leicester in the play offs
  9. Naturally gutted but mixed feelings too. Two years ago. my then boss (a Leicester fan based in the US) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which is one of the most destuctive cancers you can get. We'd enjoyed a lot of football banter over the years and although I am sure this wasn't the only deciding factor, he recommended I should be promoted to succeed him over the heads of some probably better qualified candidates. He has declined dramarically of late and I was in the US last week hopimg amongst other things to see him. Unfortunately the end is nigh and he was too ill to see me but we had a nice but poignant and difficult conversation about this weekend's permutations. I doubt he will get to see the results of the play-offs (although I think this is helping him hang on) but he has passed his enthusiasm for Leicester on to his two daughters (same ages as my own) and I for one hope that they go on to win their way up to the Premiership. Good on you Robert - it's been a pleasure to know you.
  10. Where are the Dortmund Boo Boys? Poor effort by the crowd.
  11. Was thinking of matching his love making prowess to how Bolton play but couldn't be arsed. Safe to say you would get a better shag in your home bed than away on holidays where exciting foreplay sadly leads on only to disappointment.
  12. He was immense in any and every game - lardarse
  13. Like the commentator - a sort of Latin Hugh Johns
