  1. MOTD gave us 57% possession and to show that some people in the media know what they are talking about, theygave us a lot of praise.
  2. It sold out this morning, not sure how when they were closed. I reckon they closed to save the hassle of dealing with refunds for last night Rotating staff for days to work, organisation is not in the ticket office vocabulary we should all know that by now
  3. They lost my application in amongst the other games. So had to buy a ??39 ticket as that was all that was left. I think the ??32 seats are better anyway. Can't argue with my seat last year. Allocation is 3250
  4. The front few rows probably aren't used in Europe like most English grounds, hence only 2500. I do think they should take applications now and then they would know how many we would need extra. Wish I could go after Portugal, but looks unlikely for work reasons
  5. It might have changed but I flew SkyEurope to Bratislava on a Friday this year. The problem with Artmedia is that we would only get a few hundred tickets I would think.
  6. Didn't see a sober Rangers fan until Saturday am, so couldhave been any of 5000
  7. I don't think we have the big club mentality of some of the other clubs in England (those that can't even get into Europe - e.g. Spurs or Man City) so don't think we will under estimate you. Sam will have done his homework, I wouldn't be suprised if he wasn't at your game on Friday. We are like you considered a small club, I imagine that the media argued that you over achieved last season, justy like the media thinks about us here. As long as we play in a similar fashion with the high levels of fitness and performance of recent weeks I would be suprised if we lost.
  8. With tonight's game off, I think we will play our first 11 Jussi, OBrien, TBH, Bruno, Gardner, Faye, Speed, Nakata, Nolan, Diouf, Davies. The only question being Speed or Stelios. Subs - Walker, Jaidi, Speed / Stelios, Borgetti, Vaz Te, Okocha, Fernandes Fojut.

The one with the shortest queues / cheapest beer
  10. Half the time they don't weigh your hand luggage
  11. It seemed to be a Nat West issue, as the only other people I met who had the same problem were also Nat West Account holders, and as they charge 4% on withdrawals, it was probably cheaper on my VISA card anyway.
  12. I hope these all make it to the game and aren't going to be bouncing around pubs / living rooms next Thursday night. The odd few lost in the square may be excusable.
  13. When I was in Lisbon for Euro 2004 my Nat West debit card was useless. The Pin numbers in Portugal (well the 4 machines I tried in Lisbon) are all 6 digit ones, and wouldn't accept mine. Apparently some bank cards will let you put 00 at the beginning or end, but not all. I had no problem with a VISA cash advance in the bank though.
  14. I think they advised 3000 to try and cut the number of worried callers. The tickets being allocated so late is not the Wanderers fault as the tickets arrived 10 days later than supposed to under UEFA rules. However what they should have done was invited applications very early then when negotiations started over allocations they would have had a better idea of numbers. After all my fretting, I got my phone call today, collect Saturday. I doubt we will be given any more tickets at this late stage, though if there is an area not being sold to the home fans then maybe they may sell some on the gate.
  15. I was told yesterday that all season ticket holders will get one, so if you are next in line I would think your chances were pretty high.
  16. O:) :D/ We've been told tonight at the ticket office that all season ticket holders that have applied (correctly) will get a ticket, but you have to wait for the phone call which will be before Friday close of business, before you can collect. You can pick up Saturday morning. All you have to worry about (me included!) is whether the Royal Mail have done their job and got the application to them. A now stationary travelling wanderer
  17. That's if the check in staff are aware of that, wouldn't guarantee it. BMI will officially accept an expired bus pass on domestic flights though wouldn't like to try it. Though last time I flew from Heathrow domestically I checked in online and at no point was I asked for id.
  18. 2 in Guimaraes Thursday night, Porto the night either side

I rang today and didn't get much more info So far I have heard nothing and wondering now if the application actually arrived.
  20. They are def open this Saturday I rang and checked, though I still haven't heard anything. They said that season ticket holders should all get one but would not guarantee it. It seems that we may be close to selling out.
  21. Anyone taking other inflatables incase balls aren't allowed in. Though can't see them confiscating 1000, as most of us would miss the match while they tried to find them
  22. They normally are open part of Saturday Kind of got the feeling I missed my phone number off, hope that doesn't mean an incomplete application!
  23. Why can't they put something on the website to that effect, or at least to advise that the tickets have arrived.
  24. Apparently arrived today. When the club post them on is another matter.
