Wigan Or West Ham ?
We're all so very flattered!

Tal Ben Haim
Last season he was superb. Then we got the offer from Arsenal but we turned it down flat without consulting NRC. Since then he has played with no effort or desire. Hence his form has been woeful. Majority of WHU fans will be glad to see the back of him. He has undoubted ability and an engine to match but he isn't motivated at all at the moment. Rightly or wrongly he was on the midfielder on the standby list for England during the last World Cup. BTW I wasn't saying that TBH was coming to us, like you say, at this moment in time why would he? All I was saying was that was the rumour down here.

I'd bite your hand off!

Considering TBH is worth nothing due to his contract being at an end, I'd say you were getting him cheap considering Arsenal bid ??10m for him on the last transfer deadline day.

Tal Ben Haim
The rumour was ??4m to us.

Rumour doing the rounds down here are that he's coming to us + ??4m and you're getting NRC. Probably bollocks but thought it may be of interest.

Big Sam On Crowds Again
It's the same everywhere. Real football fans are being priced out of the game.

Lucky Escape...
He was insisting on a ??5m get out clause too.

I think that depends on the individual and I think it's a fairly safe bet that Anelka isn't bothered by locality, club size, club history, manager, tactics, training methods, facilities etc etc given that his last 2 clubs are Fenerbache and Bolton.

Statistics and accounts can be pushed around to however you want them to be read. Do you really think that Djorkaeff, Diouf, Ba, Candela, Okocha, Jardel, Anelka, Campo, etc etc went to Bolton to win trophies or because they liked the area? Or perhaps Bolton were prepared to pay bigger wages than anyone else in for them at the time? As for your question. Very, very good on the face of it. Long term then who knows. I am probably a little wiser than you guys are (purely because it concerns my club) but i still know very little. Could turn out to be the worse thing that ever happens to us. An interesting, exciting, but very worrying time.

Boom Boom Yes we do have our own forum. Come join the fun - you'll be made most welcome One of your lot does pop up from time to time, usually around match time obviously, goes by the name of Plodder iirc. I get tired of chatting with the same supporters tbh. I enjoy other forums as well, can learn a lot I otherwise wouldn't know.

Tis true that there is quite a high (percentage wise) number of whu supporting hacks but that does not necessarily mean we get good press. McCarthy for example, in The People, is constantly using his article to put west ham down. I think the bone with Sam and his foreign imports have been because he constantly claims he has no money. Granted the transfer fees he has paid, excluding the obvious exceptions, have been minimal, but he has spent a fortune on signing on fees, bonuses, and wages. That's before any of the shady agent stuff is mentioned. Since last thursday we have had an incredible amount of negative press (not for the first time).

Since when has Talk Shite been printed press? To be honest I think every supporter of every club hates everything about that station with a passion. They're deliberately controversial to get maximum amount of callers. Whilst I would agree that the article is written badly and contains a lot unneccesary opinion, surely the facts of the article are pretty much spot on? Are you guys happy with your transfer activity?

Yes I honestly believe otherwise. I work with a Rovers and Citeh fan and they don't think there is either. I can't imagine Liverpool or Utd fans would agree either. I've not read a single post as yet that would even tempt me to believe otherwise.

Diego Tristan
Scaloni has every asset needed to be a very good premier league player. Other than pace.

Do you honestly believe the printed press has a southern bias?

You really need rid that chip from your northern shoulders.

BWFC fanzines
Presumably a fanzine wasn't financially viable. After all with so few fans, any editor won't sell many copies

Carrick - my arse!!!
So now you've all had the chance to watch Carrick, what did you think? Also the SWP knockers - how did you think he did? Did England improve when Beckham went off?

A few empty seats
Neither did you in your play off final so you're both as bad as each other! How old are you? Average attendance for Division 1/Championship Play Off Finals is 69,000+. Makes your 54k look exactly what it was. Shit suport :-$ there were two teams involved you fanny flap! go and bore the nob enders...PLEASE! They very nearly sold out. You were the ones with 10k+ empty seats. You hold the record for having the lowest ever attended Division 1/Championship Play Off Final. Congratulations

How many .....
same great gaffa that you all wanted out last season? Why post about something you know nothing about? Thereby making you look a fool? Pardew wasn't wanted out because of results, it was more about the style of football he was (attempting) to make us play in. Once he learnt his lesson and went back to proper West Ham football, things were fine. Remarkably our results also took an upturn in fortune too. Can't think why

Fine, wouldn't argue with that. Just found whoever posted the original knockdown about Wigan a bit hypocritical that's all.
-
A few empty seats
They usually produce the same attendance. I.e. a sell out... It's really not that difficult
