  1. Don't understand this, i'm not going while he's manager. Surely if you support a club you go regardless to support the 11 on the pitch. You don't go to support a manager. I actually think if Megson keeps us up he's doing OK. Iwould though expect him to then build for next season and to see an improvement not only in results but in style of play. I do feel that quite a few occasions this season the players have let him down.
  2. If Megson based team selection on who had performed in the last two games we would have a team of two at West Brom,Jussi and Cahill. I agree AOB needs a long rest but Gavin McCann has in my opinion been one of our more consistent players this season, saturday excepted.
  3. Blame Megson the players had nothing to do with the fact that we gifted Fulham 3 goals.
  4. Don.t think this has been posted elsewhere, but Mark Davies has been called up for under 21's to play Ecuador next Tuesday in Malaga. From Leicester to Premiership and under 21's debut all in the space oe 10 days or so.
  5. Forget wednesday night, Forget Nolan , Forget Megson,SUPPORT the 11 on the field today, get behind the team, today is the most important match of the season, one we simply have to win. Todays result will have a hugh bearing on the rest of the season. If we dont win i fear for us. So forget all that's gone on so far and give vocal support. The time to slag off is after the game not in the 90 odd minutes while the team is on the field.
  6. Truth is we've been spoilt. Under BFS we overacheived for years, now he's gone and were not hitting the heights some 'supporters' can't handle it. The season's not a disaster, 3 out of next 4 games at home win 2 of them and things will look a lot healthier.
  7. Disgusted by majority of fans last night, who was to blame for the last half hour just Megson. I think the players have a lot to answer for. I did'nt hear any players getting much stick. Is anyone brave enough to admit to slagging Megson, from the posts so far it seems not.
  8. Went to Lifeline do last night, could have been any do any where. It.s totally lost its focus. We all know the history of lifeline and its pupose. But year on year its become less and less of a Wanderers supporters do. I get the feeling now apart the the time taken up by the artist the rest of the evening is just a matter of filling in time, until the artist. Surely such a night should include attendance from the manager and players alike, a speech from the manager and chairman to the people who in many cases have given thier money to lifeline for years. More and more people attending are not even wanderers fans, For gods sake a bloody bucket shaker won a prize in the raffle last night. Sadly it will more than likely be the last time i bother attending.
  9. It,s in the Mirror so it must be right. :: The words arse and show spring to mind
  10. Megson was on a loser from day one, many supporters would find it hard to back any other manager after Alladyce. I,m backing him till the end of the season. I think we will finish comfortably in mid table and hopefully build on that next season. I agree yesterday was a hugh disappointment but he played his strongest team and was let down once again by the players. To many players of late are not putting in the effort. After the abject performance against the pie eaters yesterday was a chance for the team to put it right. They let Megson and the fans down. My main gripe with Megson is the way he sets his team up against the top 5 clubs. Its to negetive. We should be having a go against them not sitting back and trying to keep the score respectable, that's not working. I worry about the next to games. One thing is for sure we must get a result at BFS inbred dingles.
  11. Megson got two things sadly wrong, both in the space of four days, the team for Lisbon and his negative tatics at Wigan away, against ten men. Apart from that he's done an ok job. Don't know how much he had to do with Anelka sale. Has made some good signings of Cahill and Steinson at a difficult time, Jan transfer window, Jury's out on Cohen, Rasiak, last minute panic signing should already be gone. Give him a realistic transfer budjet, 20-30 million, season tickets for under ?300 and next season could be enjoyable again. First ever post, go easy.
