Raziak is purly cover for injury due to the fact we've not been able to get the one(s) we were after. The foundation of a young team team is almost there now bar a creative mid & striker... These will just have to wait untill the summer. Considering how long Megson's been at the club, hats off to him for what he's done so far. This was (and still is) a MASSIVE re-building job & will carry on into the summer. I accecpt & am happy with that. Bolton till I die !!

They did allright with Cahill ?? Out & out quality strikers are always hard to come by, the days of Blake, McGinlay, Mixu & Coyle in your squad are gone... Even proven strikers would rather stay at clubs where they are 3rd/4th choice these days..... Defoe Saha Crouch etc....

Agreed - Meite for me should go in the summer & keep Lubor, just farm him out on loan. That said I think there's only a couple of years between Cahill & Lubor so is he really the best prospect of the two? Probably not.

Dado Prso wasn't under contract at the time thou. Signing a new contract meant 2 things: We were able to ask a bigger transfer fee. He got a larger signing on fee. He was going to leave anyway. Everyone's a winner.

If you have a "gentleman?s" agreement then it has to be met. Alternative - Keep Anelka, get relegated because of a shaky defence & sell him for the ?8m paid in the first place (if lucky). We had to do it once a Champs league side came in for him. Plus he deserves to be playing in front of bigger crowds than ours. Lets be fair to the lad.

I really don't think Striker is the problem. Why play McCan @ home against that shite? Play Stelios on the right & play either Campo or Guthrie in the middle to create the chances. If Stelios injured - play Campo instead of McCann......

But if there're not around then who do you get? You just end up replacing quality for mediocre (e.g. alves) at the same rate. There's no way were keeping Anelka once Chelsea make the offer. Take the money & strengthen the defence. I'm sure we'll get someone in before the deadline, even if on loan.

I saw glimpses of hope - stood up singing 1 & only W'ders for 10 mins b4 voice packed in. Am there for Madrid & will test next home league game.
