He is slow, he cant pass and has very poor positional sense,Great compettitor who always gave 100% but sadly lacking in football skills. How can you say that Muamba was top class last night?, he is a defensive midfielder who was part of a team who nearly blew a 3-0 lead, none of Englands team were top class , especially the more defensive players, i think you need to look at yourself, your BWFC tinted glasses are causing you to totally ignore the facts, i always view each separate Muamba performance without bias and he was poor in most games last season , and even he admitted he deserved the critisism , i admit he has played better in this tournament, especially against Spain when he looked comfortable and completely sheperded Bojan Krkic out of the game, it is very noticable how few times he has needlessly give the ball away with a stray pass which he seemed to do regularly last season,it is no coincidence though that he was substituted when it was apparant that this game was going to penalties, surely any professional footballer should be trusted to take a penalty,or indeed tap a ball in from 6 yards which he failed to do 3 times last season. He starts with a clean slate next season ,as he does every game as far as i am concerned, but he will have to massively improve.
