See earlier post on this. What's the betting this was Ticketmaster again? Fucking useless.
-
I was asking for Sheff Wed tickets. Mongo? Carlos in abusive response to perfectly reasonable post shocker. Whatever floats your boat.
-
The woman I spoke to in the ticket office at midday said closer to 4k - quoted very precise figures (out of 5655 tickets just over 1700 left she said), so don't know why the twitter feed was later quoting 3k. If, as some were saying yesterday, Ticketmaster in their usual wisdom (why do we still employ those useless fuckers btw?) were giving out any number of tickets to whoever phoned up, do they actually know how many they've sold? Fuck knows.

I'm with you Tomski, never had any trouble at Goodison or Anfield. I know some came a cropper in the 70s, but then plenty of away fans did at Burnden back then. Times change. No love for Tranmere, for obvious reasons...but they're not proper scousers anyway.
-
Just phoned up to get a couple of Sheff Wed tickets (we've sold about 700 so far)...asked about Liverpool - we've sold just under 4k out of 5,655...and they're going fast. NLSWA.

If you're not mithered about this and can only bitch about folk getting tickets who might not be season ticket holders, or moan about how shit/fickle our support is, then what's the point? Go and do something else with your time and stop trying to bring everyone else down to your own depressing misery levels.
-
Well said Jules. I don't get all this negativity from some folk.
-
I'm surprised people seem surprised by the interest in this. It's local, tickets are cheaper than some Championship league games (including our own game on Sat), free travel, a manager we believe in who's got us looking like a team again...what's not to get excited about?
-
Any real fan who wants one should be ok...as someone else said, how often do we get 5.5k following us away? A good proportion of those there will not be regular away fans.
-
They'd sold 3,700 by y'day...am amazed that many are prepared to turn out given how shite they've been for so long. Let's hope they're going home having received a similar footballing lesson to May 2004.

Website still says 24th Jan for this and no mention of Liverpool....3 days after the fucking draw. The club have really upped their game on the social media stuff since Lenny came in but the ticketing operation remains piss poor. Dates and times are sometimes wrong and fixtures which have been and gone are often still left up there. I phoned up for a ticket for the Leeds game for a mate (not a Bolton fan) the other day and it was an epic - went through to Ticketmaster who despite me giving them my row and seat number had no idea how to find a seat in the same area. How we ever expect to boost crowds when buying a ticket is made so difficult beats me. Sort it out!

In with a mate who hardly ever goes to aways...this thing's building...
-
I remember how great it felt to have Burnden bursting at the seams again that day. Could hardly breathe on the Paddock, with regular surges down to the front. After a decade or so of mainly sparse crowds it felt like Bolton really were back. Thank you Bruce.

Is that Steve Nicol struggling to get up for the header? Was he on the Jan Molby diet at the time?
-
I reckon we'll sell out at those prices, even on telly. The league games at Anfield became a chore the last few seasons in the Prem when we went into the big games just trying to keep the score down. The idea of paying 40+ quid for that soon became unattractive. We've got our mojo back now though thanks to Lenny...and people want to be part of it again.
-
How many tickets are we actually getting?
-
I don't think I've seen many better performances in a white shirt than the one David Lee gave that night.
-
Think Cup away allocations are no more than 5 or 6k these days at Anfield. Ryan should surely know though. They weren't filling the place every week back in 93 (34k on with 8.5k of us that night). You'd hope tickets would be no more than 30 quid. I know it's not the same novelty as 22 years ago (Jesus!) but we should sell whatever they give us for this. NLSWA.
-
I remember being really gutted when that happened in 92. We hadnt played em at home since 80...which was why Black Sunday when it came 4 years later was all the more painful.
-
Is that right? Please let it not be Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs again...we seem to have played all 3 a hell of a lot over the past 10 years or so, in both cups.
-
Everton was 4th Round - about 18.5k I think - with 5k+ of them.
-
They're talking about bringing 5k, so should be a Boxing Day sized crowd for this. The buzz is certainly back. When did we last get almost 17k on for the 3rd Round? Not since the Rioch days.
-
Wrexham away (after they've dumped Stoke out of it later).
-
Didn't we play Halifax away the same weekend as that Chorley game - the one with the mass pitch invasion? Looks a good following from Chorley. I bet many of them were closet Wanderers fans from up that way from back in the (Worthy, or even Lofty) day.
