  1. But I agree, £20 would have tempted a few more from their armchairs. Not sure if it's £26 because that was what it cost there. A fiver for under 18s is excellent though.
  2. We'll have more than that Gonzo I think. We had almost 18 for Wigan...which tho cheaper was hardly a massive draw. As I've said before, the buzz is back. I said we'd sell out at Huddersfield and for Anfield...and I think people may be pleasantly surprised by the turnout for this. Hope so anyway, it's a totally different experience when the place is full.
  3. The Wolves league game or the play-off semi? The latter for me too I think.
  4. Less of the negative thinking Gonzo...at least 4 local always next season - 2 in Manchester and 2 in Liverpool...
  5. I think they'd had one or two returns so worth checking if anyone still looking.
  6. Club swapped my two tickets miles apart for two together today, so fair dos. Still need to sort their systems out tho cos this shit really shouldn't be happening in 2015. The guy said the system couldn't cope with the demand all at once and so tickets got sent out as they did. I'm guessing Take That and Peter Kay use a different system ie one which works when they're selling their tickets. Kin tin pot.
  7. I wasn't one of those sniggering. I just made the mistake of thinking the club could carry out a simple online ticketing operation. More fucking fool me.
  8. Are you here all week Casino? :-)
  9. Has anyone got their tickets together? I applied for 2, with 2 separate client reference numbers...and have got 2 tickets about 10 rows apart. I realise if you haven't got a ticket this is not a huge problem but what a fucking shambles. Still no explanation/apology that I've seen from BWFC or Ticketmaster...not even a fucking mention, a week on, in the BN, unless I missed it?
  10. Get yourself on it!
  11. A bloody shame.
  12. Do you not reckon? On police advice? How come they could give Leeds and Boro that many? It's a shame they stopped doing the 15 quid tickets for this fixture - that helped.
  13. We might get 1500 with pay on the day. I hope all those who are going to Liverpool get their arses to Ewood and the DW. If Boro can take 7k to Blackburn surely we can...if we're still in the play-offs hunt? I was gutted to miss the last time we had that size of a following there - the 1-0, penalties and sending off game.
  14. Free travel is a great idea...always boosts our support when offered (WBA about 3 years ago we had almost 40 coaches...rather than the usual 5 or 6). It's Ticketmaster who appear to be the culprits in this. Their job is to sell tickets, that's what they do for an actual living...how the fuck can they keep getting it so wrong? Why are they still in business? And why are we still giving them some? Meanwhile, the BN is still recycling quotes from NL's post match interview from Saturday as its lead story online. Their job is to report news, that's what they do for an actual living...
  15. Couldn't get a ticket in away end for some reason so was in that terrace alongside pitch, close to the Wanderers fans. Me and my mate nearly gave the game away when Walker scored.
  16. Can someone tell the Bolton No News they may have a story on their hands. Not a mention of it so far...
  17. Very slight chance of doing both. I'll be at Hillsborough and Anfield.
  18. Think it's about 9k for Old Trafford - that's what Leeds and Liverpool have had in past few years - upper tier of the stand behind goal (east?) and possibly the usual away corner. Which is less than 15 per cent, so doesn't really prove anything. I guess the segregation is always a factor.
  19. So there's no way we'd be getting 8k if capacity is 45k. They're at capacity for every game nowadays anyway, unlike in the Souness era when we had 8.5k out of a 34k crowd. I don't know if we got the max we were allowed, or we could have had maybe 1k more. The fact is, none of us know because the club have given very little information out, and when they have it's been misleading and contradictory. The information flow between them and Ticketmaster certainly hasn't been a model of clarity either - which is why multiple tickets have been issued to single client ref numbers...and why we're now in the mess we are. Fwiw, I do believe (and said right from the draw being made) there's demand to fill whatever the supply is for this...just going off the number of people I know (and people they know etc) who were up for it in a way they haven't been for years.
  20. The 5,655 we currently have was the figure quoted to me y'day by the ticket office when I was getting Sheff Wed tickets. But given what's come out of the ticket office today, who knows which figures to believe.
  21. Which facts Casino? The 15%? That's what's always been quoted in the past for the FA Cup. Might be wrong though.
  22. I think it's 15% - so more like 6.6k...we've got 5,655. So another thousand should be available...tho we've probably left it too late now. I bet no fucker will take any responsibility for this either.
  23. Wigan bound then?
  24. If he's the man I hope he is I'd expect him to give a considerable fuck that just as he's trying to get the fans back onside (and succeeding) the club could score such a stupid own goal.
  25. I've been saying for ages that our ticketing systems are absolute shite. Website is a fucking embarrassment - not in any way user friendly, wrong info on it half the time etc. And how any company with a turnover of millions of pounds thinks it's acceptable is beyond me. But then so is employing the services of that other bunch of amateurs Ticketmaster when they managed to ruin the League Cup Final experience in 2004 for many diehard fans. I think Casino is right - they've had to say it's now sold out while they try to sort this self-inflicted mess. The figures given out have been all over the place anyway - 4k sold y'day lunchtime, then down to 3k this morning, then suddenly up to 4.5k, then sold out not long after. Absolutely clueless. I hope NL is blissfully unaware of this shambles...combined with a serious lack of movement on transfers he might be beginning to wonder what kind of brewery he's just been given the keys to.
