Gutted for him, he has so much passion, done everything he possibly could to play for England, would of been a valuable sub and his experience could of been vital within the squad. Could be a career ender for him, will the players win it for Beckham? will this give them an early excuse for not winning it I hope all our other players don't start dropping like fly's

Cahill is back in training next week, i think we have done brilliant considering we have had to rely on players like Ricketts[out of position] and sometimes A.'O'Brien who really hasn't been convincing, even though he was our 2nd best player of the season a couple of seasons back, plus Zat Knight was terrible under Megson, but he seems like a brand new player under Coyle[he's still had a few bad games]. When it was revealed he would be out of the season, i was gutted, considering our league position at the time and with him being one of our better players and scoring goals, i really didn't know if we would manage to survive, didn't even know if Cahill would play again for Bolton, but look at the results below and also the clean sheets without Cahill. It's been good and bad at times without him, but much better than expected. 11 points is a great return imo, I think Coyle has to take huge credit obviously, maybe man management, maybe the players understanding we're in a fight, and we have good players to win games. So do we get Cahill back straight in the starting 11, put him as sub? wait till the Utd game? Does Ricketts then go back to Left back, Robinson was dropped just before Cahill got the blood clot Some will say, our defensive record is better without Cahill, but Cahill is superb, him and a better Knight, this will give huge confidence to the rest of the side, if you have confidence in your back line, other players will be more confident to play their own game without worrying about the defenders making mistakes and costing us and chance or giving us to much to do to get back in the game. Coyle has a decision on his hands, but it's a very welcome one. Welcome back Gary Cahill!

I thought Weiss showed great spirit when he came on, yes he tries to much at times to impress. But he ran his heart out for us, he won a ball that shouldn't of been his, then did a nice piece of skill to win a throw-in. Then he delivered a fantastic cross, that very nearly found Klasnic for a 5th. Gary Caldwell will not want to watch Match of the day tonight, but i am for sure. It's not always been as good as today under Coyle, but he has changed this team for the better. We are not safe yet, but it looks really good for us as the table shows. Can't wait to see what Coyle can do with this team. Yes we will lose again and have nights like Sunderland last Tuesday, but from what i have seen so far under Coyle has given me belief and optimism again. It's a great day, hopefully we get safe soon, and then move on and see what Coyle does in the summer.

I understand i have history of being childish, but i feel my posts have improved, i've tried to give good feedback about football. I think some people hold a grudge on me, and then like a pack all gang up on me[not everyone] and then come out with stuff like this is a pathetic post, start going out, get a girlfriend etc. I don't know anyone in real life of here, no doubt we have crossed paths once or twice before but i'm not really what you make me out to be, i have friends and enjoy my life. But in my book they we're associated with different aspects of the Wanderers. I changed the Sam Allardyce quotes to Owen Coyle, some of the quotes we're for Jussi, Jay Jay, the coaches etc. I put them in different catergory's that i thought linked well. i was wrong, please let me move on, i like Wways, it's full of characters, i'd like to me one of those, but sometimes i don't feel like i do my self any favours/or given a chance by many. The mods have been fair to me, and i'll try and think more. I know it's an easy responce to say go get a life, but why not comment on the post instead of trying to give personal remarks.

Quality performance from Bolton. So much confidence for the team this, and also for players like Elmander, Muamba and Taylor. Muamba colossal, Elmander quality, Knight a rock, the team superb! 4-0, another clean sheet and 8 points of the drop Owen Coyle is doing well!

When he came on for AC Milan against Man Utd, he came close with a rocket volley and whipped in a few brilliant crosses. He will be a very good sub to have IMO and what he's lost in pace and that, he makes up with the ability to create something for us from crossing and set pieces.

The book is called ACCESS ALL AREAS: The official photographic book of Bolton Wanderers. Not old as in the days of Nat Lofthouse, about 7 or 8 years old.
