Like Ani said, we are short on numbers and IMO we need to move a bit quicker in getting players in or we may have a bad start to the season again especially if we suffer suspensions or injuries.

We are getting left behind in the transfer market - Fulham have signed another today. Ful and Sund are buying alot but at least if they get injuries they will be ok but we will be in a mess. We missed the boat when we were in the top 8 and should have pushed on. We now have to accept that we will struggle to compete in the transfer market.

When we were in the top ten he produced the goods. He struggled last season cos i think he found it diificult to fit in to a team that needed to fight for their lives. Ive got him on my desktop scoring with a header against Charlton (away) in April 2005 - He changed that game also when he came on. Im disappointed he has gone but i think im more concerned about who will replace him if anyone. Ironic that he scored he last goal for us against Sunderland.

Jussi is confident last year was a blip. Even though we had a poor league season overall there were some crackin moments - Reading away. I think we will be around md-table but pushing for top half - the key is a good start. Apart from i think two seasons in the Prem (since 2001) we have made a relatively good start but finshed poorly. Still need another defender and attacking midfielder. Come on.

I still think we need a decent attacking midfielder cos since JJ left we have had nothing and another striker and another defender.............. I don't think Guthrie would improve so what about one of the little Russians from Zenit - even thought they won the Uefa they must be tempted by more cash and the brught lights of Bolton!

Stay. Basically, his determination helped us escape relegation. I sat in my seat at Villa Park and thought this is going from bad to worse. He came back in and did a captain's job and galvanised the players when all was lost. He does need to score more goals though. He used to be great for my FF team.
