  1. It was frustrating to lose the lead and its becoming the norm that we can't hold onto a lead or nick a draw. Nolan was awful. I can't remember him being invloved but i think he had the first shot when we scored the second. The chanting towards GM was embarrassing even though it was a nightmare second half. Its not the first time that it got personal towards GM in that way - at Spurs he got a big chant of GM you're a .................
  2. He told journalists at a scheduled pre-match press conference today: "Certain members at Bolton Wanderers seem to wind up the fans and it works in a case of a small minority." The 54-year old Englishman described his relationship with the Bolton board as "distant" and nonchalantly brushed off the decline in relations as: "such is life." He continued: "If you look at my track record at Bolton there is not many in the club's history who can better it, but if you want an answer to your question [as to why there is animosity] then you would be better off asking them." Surely he is the one winding it up!
  3. Wolves website states he is on his way to someone in next couple of days. SSN mentioned Wigan but i think that was a mistake. Is he really going to sort out our current problems of going forward and creating chances/scoring or is he one for the future?!
  4. He did a great job for us and was a top manager. However, he has made it clear that he would love to beat us again (see MOTD the other week when they beat Newcastle). I will love it if we can turn them over on Weds. I can't forget that defeat to Newcastle and him punching his fist in the air so soon after leaving us. If we don't you can just see our section getting annoyed with GM (abusive chants) and BSA looking smug.
  5. They have also made plans before getting rid of him - Mido signed on loan from Boro. I know he has struggled but on his day he can be a handful and will team up with Zaki. Good business from the Manager of Wigan. Why do we never have plans in place?
  6. Im trying not too get down about this but i will be miffed if we do not have an attacking midfielder in by end of Feb. Not happy. Worried about Weds also - don't want to see BSA with a smug face.
  7. He does score goals and is quick so i guess he is not in GM plans.
  8. He was going to go forward and try and score goals but that does not fit well with our tactics.
  9. To be fair we were awful today and set out not to win or draw. Don't understand why you go out to not try to win. GM got it wrong today. Has anyone noticed that basically against a top 10ish side GM struggles to know what to do.
  10. Liverpool Win 2-1 Wigan 2-2 S'land Lose 1-0 Utd Lose 2-0 Basically, if we beat Liverpool on Boxing day i will be lovin it.
  11. At tomorrows press conference, I hope he admits that he was desperate for any job and because Sunderland did not want him he chose Blackburn. That game at the end of Jan takes on another level. Need to thrash erm.
  12. There is a TV interview with him on BEN website. http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/wanderers/3...Bolton_News_TV/ He was a great manager for us but doesn't he just love himself!
  13. Well said. He is probably arse lickin Keane.
  14. Maybe he won't play - i see he is on the bench again today so surely not long before he sulks!
  15. MOTD made it look like we were hanging on showing all Boro's chances but if you watch the 50 minutes on Football First we had some other chances and could have scored more!
  16. Points return much better than last season so can't complain.
  17. oh my god - time to crap me pants
  18. At the moment he is simply not good enough. I was surprised he started after being so ineffective last week. I thought it would have been Nolan for him not Gardner. He did play better when he went upfront but the jury is still out.
  19. If we manage to get a result then surely the Fat Spanish Waiter will moan it is Styles making amends (along with all the digs at us)! Either way he is gonna get stick.
  20. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11096_4489389,00.html What a T....., although he does predict us to stay up. The Fulham fan needs a talking to also.
  21. We have not let many goals in compared to the other teams in the bottom half so we can't really complain. 1-0 to the Wanderers!
  22. Quality display. Does he not have a horse with Phil Brown and BSA - European Dream? He just needs to tell AOB and GC how to defend from crosses!
  23. Great memories. Headed goals against Arsenal at home and that cool finish when we thrashed Everton 4-0 at GP. Topman. Having said that, i will only applaud him at the end if appropriate.
  24. I see he has said that he left Bolton because the Chairman would not offer him the job when BS left! Might have been another Sammy Lee though initially? "I won't be approaching any differently to any other. I've had a little bit more media coverage because of my background and history with Bolton. But I've moved on and one of the main reasons for that is the chairman there wasn't going to promise me the opportunity to manage the club once Sam Allardyce had moved on." Hull Website
