  1. In addition to this there is one going spare on the same train for anyone with a young persons rail card, that one is ?18.00 return. Same trains as the other ticket.
  2. For anyone who is interested, I purchased a return ticket to Euston for Sat Dec 17th months back and can no longer attend the match. Departing on the 0809 from Wigan with the return departing from Euston at 1930 same day. I only have one return ticket and am willing to sell at face value ?26.00, to anyone who wants them. Message if interested. Thanks.
  3. I would also point out that it seems strange for a player to be there so early on a match day for a 3PM KO, usually don't arrive at the ground till around 1.30 do they? Could have been going anywhere!
  4. Take Souness for granted... we've got G. Neville to look forward to next year.
  5. Only applies to full time staff aswell, part timers and casuals aren't entitled to anything as far as I'm aware.
  6. Where abouts it that?
  7. 4 of us on train at 7.35 from manchester, spoons breakfast by 10.15. Anyone suggest any boozers which might have a few Wanderers fans in?
  8. Everton doing us no favours at all!!!!
  9. Beating Rovers 4-3 at ewood a few seasons back, 1-0 up after 14 seconds, 3-1 down then an sublime chip by Youri at the end of the first half and then going on to win 4-3 in the second. Even sweeter because a few of my mates are Rovers fans and we had met before the game and agreed put ?10 each in, and whoever won got to split the money. They rang me at 3-1 to gloat, then met at full time to pick up my winnings. Beating Villa 5-2 in the cup was a good, I was in the perfect position to see Jay-jay's freekick fly in so would like to witness that again.
  10. I think we have only got the Darwen End upper tier, so the missus told me when she went picking up my tickets. I would like to see Taylor and Gardner on the bench and Wilshere and M Davies replace them. Gonna be optimistic and say 1-0 Bolton win. Plan for Sunday is breakfast n beers in spoons at 9, train at 10.20 then hopefully time for a pint in fernhurst before going in.
  11. Taylor seemed to have a bit of an attitude towards the end of the Megson era and I think his performances suffered, and he since hasn't rediscovered form. However I don't think that getting on his back is the way to go. The fans that jeered Taylor (and any player in general) arn't just destroying his confidence but potential future signings could also be put off by stories from other players / managers they work with about our fans at the moment. Not a great game last night for either side, plenty of effort at times but no real quality and we just arn't clinical enough, and at times we are just so deep which just invites wave after wave of opposition attack.
  12. Can't believe Kanoute gets paid more than Drogba and Torres!!!!
  13. It's deffo gonna be an early one, think the police will have had something to do with the early k/o. Rather than arrange the extra policing needed for a 3pm k/o they have cut drinking time right down with the 12 kick off. Dont think it's gonna stop me though, few beers on the train on the way.
  14. Has to be a win for us, and hopefully a convincing one so we're not sat back in our own half for the last 15 mins. I'll say 3-1, Wigan are awful and we need to beat teams like them comfortably. Hopefully Elmander will grab one too.
  15. Would much prefer Rovers game to be Saturday than Monday, make a day of it. Certainly looking forward to the game whatever day it's on.
  16. Anybody any idea when the Bburn game is going to be played now? The replay is scheduled for the Wednesday isn't it, only 2 days after the Rovers match.
  17. The original fixture was going to be on wasn't it, but the weather was so bad on the Monday night it was pponed. I'll be at both games anyway, especially Wigan which is crucial!!!!
  18. Thought that Sunday was a definate improvement, especially the way we took the game to them for spells in the 2nd half. On another day it could have definately been a different story. I think it's unfortunate the way the fixtures have worked out, leaving us with a tricky week, but if we could nick a point on Wed it would just be a bonus. If Wednesday does end in defeat hopefully we can get a morale boosting win again Sheff Utd before the big game against Burnley.
