  1. My money would be on Sordell- he's meant to be playing a big role, championship experience etc.
  2. Helping out in defence? Or watching as your man wanders off you to have a shot?
  3. If it was ten grand I'd take it. But the first thing it'd go to would be next years season ticket. And away games.
  4. They look like they're praying and he's the preacher. Please Lord, let QPR get smashed by Manchester City and let Matthew Upson quiver in fear everytime Super Kev gets within 5 metres of him. Amen
  5. Gotta be Knight- seems to think he's better than he is. Can't concentrate and isn't good in the air despite being 6ft 7! His laughing and joking with his mates on the opposition after we've lost 3-0 to Fulham made me furious. Honourable mention to Seagulls- soft as anything and shooting from ridiculous places.
  6. Presuming Ream survives Stoke away.
  7. Yes, like I said, I have lived in Preston since I was 8. Before that I lived in Bolton and my Dad is from Bolton and is a Bolton fan. I've never really thought about where Bolton is in Lancashire, just assumed it was East because it's East of me and near Blackburn etc. Anyway, this thread wasn't about my poor geography skills, it was about whether the "South Lancashire derby" exists.
  8. It's about as far east of Preston as Blackburn is (and yes it's south too). Sorry, I haven't studied where a town I don't live in is exactly in relation to the county. Like I said, I always assumed it was in East Lancs, because I tend to lump it in with Blackburn/Burnley because it is "that way on" for me. This isn't what the thread was about anyway.
  9. Bolton is east of Preston...
  10. In my defence, I've lived in Preston since I was about 8. I always thought it was?
  11. Bolton is east lancashire anyway isn't it? It'll have been written by a pie eater. Always amazes me how much they dislike us when, to be honest, I don't care about them very much.
  12. True, I doubt we'll be able to afford what he's on now, but I'd certainly want him to stay. I mean, I know we have Wylde but he's untested anywhere other than the pub league, Ryo will be going back, Eagles is ridiculously hit and miss and Lee may not be the same player he was before. If he'll take a pay cut, even at 34 he'll play a big part next year imo.
  13. Petrov has been a different player these last few games, I don't know whether it's playing for a new contract or playing for Muamba and Petrov, but he's earned another contract next year for me. Shame we won't sign him on for a week at a time so he has to earn a new deal every game.
  14. Credit to Coyle last night. Got the tactics spot on. Too many times we've seen him not make a change until it's too late (especially at nil nil) and he made the right change at the right time and gave them the right talk at half time. Kev was magnificent when he came on too!
  15. Vela set to start with Pratley out, and both M. Davies and Ryo doubtful...gulp. We may be forced into a 442 unless Wylde is allowed to play!
