Udinese and Roma playing the last 18 mins or so of their game that was abandoned due to player injury the other week, on TNT3 now. Teams are allowed to play different line ups, but not allowed to play anyone who was subbed off in the original game. O...kay! Udinese have changed manager since the original 70 odd mins as well.

Why? Because we'd had 7 episodes of a 9 episode series building up a story about a specific bunch of characters and their squadron, only for a whole new batch and story thread to be introduced near the end. If they wanted to make a point about the Tuskegee Airmen, their incredible achievements and the specific hardships they faced, make a series about them. I'm more making a point about the quality of the series and its uneven storytelling than the narrative of the war itself. It felt as if they only found out halfway through filming that they had 9 episodes to do their stuff and not more like 15.

I knew something flaggy was going to happen from the start as they gave spoilers away in the starting credits, it was daft though. Seemed quite contrived to try and fit the story of the Tuskegee Airmen in wherever they possibly could as well. Smelt a bit... well, WOKE. The spy woman kind of just petered out as well, seemed like they clearly ran out of time to do anything with her story but then why make us invest in her earlier on. Quite liked her as well.
