Now he was a right fucking wage collecting, weak as piss, good for nothing, shit house. I like Madine, puts himself about, plays through injury, wins headers, scores the odd goal. Miles away from our worst striker, but he does need more support to be properly effective.
-
Tore mine once taking a corner, had to get carried to the carpark, not a pleasant injury.
-
Spat in a pensioners bovril and then had a wank in the team showers as well I heard. What a cunt eh?
-
Because it's fucking Eastleigh... The same reason Madine didn't celebrate his goal, because it shouldn't be a surprise or something to be overjoyed about it should just be happening.
-
Replace Naismith with a young English player with loads of potential for next to nothing. Sounds like a smart move to me.

Well yeah... But we still exist, appear to be closer than ever to being taken over and at a point where we've realised the necessity to be self reliant at a time when our academy is actually creating talented players. This could be the fresh start that numerous clubs before us have taken advantage of and we may not even have to suffer the administration route to do it. We'll be okay in the long run, other teams are just repeating our mistakes on a larger scale in a far more precarious position.

Aaannddd now I want a Gyros and a Mythos
-
Imagine how rich that prick could get if he somehow managed to acquire the club and it's assets... Frightening.
-
He is now yeah, I blame myself for posting that.
-
That's nice that you reckon that.

I quite liked him, always put himself about, played with heart and never once looked uninterested. Sure his passing was shite but he was tenacious and had a decent strike on him, think he could have offered something had he been given the chance to but whoever negotiated his contract made that impossible.

We needed transfer activity to go into admin, that lack of would suggest something else is happening.
-
Apparently Sheffield are saying he failed a medical when no medical took place, easy way to back out of a deal that they'd agreed but didn't like. I don't think it's bad news, we were getting a properly shit deal anyway, still a cunt if what was suggested is true but we carry on.
-
Didn't think so, something I read gave me the impression and I couldn't be bothered checking
-
Am I right in thinking this will be Clough's first game against Freedman whilst fully fit?
-
Only just seen this and would have replied before the game but Madine is fine as long as he gets the service and a runner off him. He's a target man that scores the occasional goal, not sure what more you want?
-
We've been posting a few photos on Instagram and Twitter but I'll see how to add them throughout the write up for next time, cheers Same for videos mentioned earlier, we'll be posting them when we can to social media but appreciate would be good to have it all included
-
Thank you, and i'd agree there was the plan to include a bit more from the build up to the game and sort of take the fans journey to the ground but we picked up the tickets saw the away bar, thought it was a smart idea and then didn't leave until kick off haha Definitely something that we will flesh out for the next games!

I'm a bit too up for this for no reason whatsoever. I really hope we bring a few and just have a good day, balls to the football it's not going to be good again for a long time so let's just enjoy having a football club to use as an excuse to have a good day out with other like minded fools.

Thanks for all the positive comments, hopefully we can get it off the ground a bit and start something that we all genuinely enjoy contributing to and people enjoy following. We've actually just uploaded our first review of the game from yesterday so if anyone's interested in giving it a read, it'll likely be no good but we've all got to start somewhere! https://theawaydayguys.wordpress.com/2016/01/10/rotherham-at-leeds/ Constructive criticism is not only welcomed but encouraged! As you would imagine I've been to a few away games outside of with Wanderers, a few with Everton and Newcastle with friends who are fans and then others dotted around the north mainly, thankfully never been pulled up or dobbed in as not being a local, but seeing as we're going to be getting to a lot more now I suppose the odds are against us.

I feel so bad for the lad, he doesn't deserve to be given this sort of decision to make, he's taking a massive hit to his personal happiness and development to go to a club hundreds of miles away from his family and friends all because the club he's given 10 years to can't afford not to offload him. I'm massively disillusioned with all of this and in the end it won't even stave off administration, we're still fucked except now we have less tools to mount a comeback. I wish I didn't fucking care so much.

I don't know if shameless self promotion is frowned upon but I'm going to do it anyway, feel free to delete if necessary. Me and some friends have started this blog type thing I guess you could call it where we're going to travel to away ends up and down the country and review, blog, take pictures and maybe eventually vlog the events. Just a fun idea trying to turn a hobby and something we all enjoy into something more hopefully, I'd appreciate it if you could give it a follow and if it's not completely shit tell some people about it. Can find us on Twitter @TheAwayDayGuys and first up is Rotherham away at Leeds today, hopefully the first of many.

I'm sure this post is violating some sort of rule
-
In plus 5 for this one, train over in the morning, stroll through the city, blag it in to Hooters hopefully, find an away pub and watch us get dicked. Should be a good day out! Where's the likely place to meet a few like minded fools?

His goals vs Ipswich and Wigan were good'uns, I liked to see him give more of a free role not deep or on a wing but the state we're in, the wages he's on and his injury record means I'm not overly saddened by this. Just worries me that what little quality we do have in midfield is being filtered away and it's even more frustrating if this latest bid does infact materialise.
