  1. Right, I have a mate who's up for a BWFC away day, currently a toffee so I think I'm on for a convert here. But, he can't make either Burnley or Preston and I don't want to waste this opportunity so I need a suggestion for an away day with good ale, good numbers and good atmosphere.
  2. If we can't come up with a song to the tune of "Running Down to Cuba" for Shola then I feel we'll have failed as football fans.
  3. I'd have Hammill, I like the depth that we have or are adding. I'd take Shola as well, upgrade on Heskey.
  4. It was definitely a signing that I thought was pointing us in the right direction, young, something to prove, hopeful high resale value. Yes towards the end he brought most of the criticism on himself but it wasn't his fault he was panic bought and under utilised. I remember him looking like he could be something in his brief cameos in the Prem, remember being very frustrated at his lack of game time despite our inability to score goals.
  5. Fair enough if true, I've met him a couple of times and he seemed quite quiet and humble but admittedly wasn't long enough to really know
  6. Well on previous evidence he seems like a good'un, and the staff keep saying he's good, just seems a bit bizarre that he's not getting a game, I suppose he's more of a Davies than a Danns and that's why he's bringing Spearing on to sure up rather than Vela who's more advanced.
  7. True, I'd have Spearing out the door though, stunting Vela's development and taking a massive wedge. I do like him just don't think we need him.
  8. That's true, it does lack a leader type without one of Dervite or Wheats playing, still think he's an expensive commodity for a back up experienced CB. Especially when we could do with the wages going elsewhere.
  9. Well it's arguable that even if he stays fit the other 3 CBs we have offer a bit more and are currently in decent form. For a 3rd/4th choice CB his wages are a luxury we don't really need. I like Wheats and before our summer business would have had him as an integral player if fit but now with the depth we have I'd be happy with Finney/Taylor as our 4th choice.
  10. As experienced and as good as they can be I'd agree, with the players we have available now we genuinely don't need them particularly, at this point they're just very expensive squad players.
  11. I've always hated Pulis, the cap wearing, bore mongering, detestable cunt of a man.
  12. Could well be, I wasn't on here back then so wouldn't know
  13. I'll be honest,I did it a couple of years ago when we were playing Charlton, it's actually a good laugh and they put you up for the night travel and everything. I enjoyed it.
  14. Never mind him, that Baldock was a right bellend.
  15. Nope, but I fancy it even less with Madine and Emnes. Anichebe with Clayton playing off him would do for me until Clough is fit.
  16. Could be a blessing in disguise I suppose if it was Emnes, as some were suggesting.
  17. We really are useless
  18. Steven Hunt Andy Reid My list tends to consist of chubby little pricks who make a career on good games against us, the rat faced little shits.
  19. I think he was joking but I think it would be a good signing as well if he could stay injury free (I won't say fit because I don't think he'll ever be able to run more than 10 yards)
  20. That Bong bloke played for Wigan last year, decent if I remember rightly, played well against us at their place.
  21. I like how HD it is, just a shame that with the orientation and the graphics it's just too small for highlights. I also like that the clock counts up rather than down and it's there all the time but overall it's a bit shite, purely because they went for the gimmick rather than something practical.
  22. Won more in the air and facilitated twice as many attacks as Madine and Clough combined last night. I'd start him and Dobbie next game if we don't get another striker in before then.
  23. Genuinely getting a bit giddy for this, under the floodlights, and they're all far too confident on Wednesday Ways. 2-0 Madine and Davies.
  24. How do you know that? Off a target man like Madine he could grab 10 if played regularly.
