I’d argue he’s the most imperious defender in league one. Very rarely loses one vs ones and is physical beast. He’d be a big miss next season if he goes. 2/3 million as a minimum for him I’d say.

They’ve done their homework and are putting the set pieces nowhere near Santos. Bakayoko and bodvarsson are both weak as piss in the air for their size.

Dixon hasn’t been good enough all season. His presence in the box and in the air is poor and he’s been gifting goals lately. We saw what a new goalkeeper can do last season. I still fully back Evatt but our set pieces have to be addressed. How a professional football side can be as bad as set pieces as we are is ridiculous considering how many we actually get. Seems we can’t make our mind up on who takes them either.

Absolutely bang on. He’s incapable of commanding his box and is particularly poor on crosses but most importantly he just doesn’t communicate. When you’re playing in a back line, life is so much easier with a vocal keeper. In fairness to Evatt, he spotted the flaws in the squad last January, hopefully he pulls it out the bag again this season.

We seemed to develop a way of keeping clean sheets and scraping one goal wins together last season which has completely deserted us. We desperately need to sign some ‘leaders’ and a goalkeeper who communicates. Gilks booming voice seems to be sorely missed this year.

Seem to be devoid of leaders and communication. We’re almost as easy to bully as we were during the latter of Coyles years.
