  1. Apparently, they're going to abstain (unconfirmed)
  2. Reminds me of watching Torquay fans getting on their coaches after Wembley '89 singing, Nice One Cyril with inflatable deflated seagulls...
  3. It seems they're happy to 'crash' our democracy over a 'cliff edge'.
  4. Whether the CBI or TUC are institutions to be taken seriously or not, Brexit is not just about them. Do they think that by writing an open letter, they can alter our referendum result? It's all getting a bit boring now, we've had 3 years of billy big bollocks thinking 'cause they've got a bit of power, they're above the 17.4M.
  5. Another step closer to a Clean Brexit πŸ‘ Never thought I'd be raising a toast to Bercow and forgotten 'friend' Gina Miller. 🍸
  6. It's probably to do with the Β£4.2M the BBC has received from the EU since 2015.
  7. Nick Clegg: "People who don't accept the result will be like those Japanese soldiers who continued to fight the last war because no one had told them it had ended"
  8. The deal must be off for a reason. What reason? Another bidder, surely...
  9. Injecting steroids in the plantar fascia can weaken the tissue and cause bigger problems. Be warned 😯 About 10 years ago there was strong evidence to suggest that taking blood from the arm and injecting it into plantar fascia worked wonders. Not sure what happened to these theories but doubt the NHS would do this.
  10. I don't think anything's changed this week. Biggest hurdle could be Bercow denying the vote on Tues but if the ERG and DUP hold firm, it's game on for 11pm on the 29th. As been said, take it on the chin, dust ourselves down, come back fighting.
  11. Streamed live on the web, apparently. Sickening πŸ˜•
  12. I never had the heel pain with mine, only inflammation along the full length of the plantar fascia. I could feel it with my thumb along the PF tissue, a bit like bubble wrap. A physio worked on the inflammation with his knuckles, it was excruciating but worked eventually. Loads of advise online, just go with what works for you. If you go for the injection, go with a guided one with a specialist rather than with your GP just taking a punt.
  13. +1 When Ed Balls lost his seat, there was a position to be filled for the biggest wanker in politics. Kier Starmer filled the roll perfectly.
  14. By rights, we should now tick nicely towards a clean break on the 29th. We've known this right from the start, and was voted on in Parliament. No going back. Parliament are now going to worm out of this today and then, as you say, the fun will start. This has already become MPs versus the public and it's about to explode. Leave means Leave.
  15. I expected Corbyn to gun for an 2nd referendum when he got to his feet last night, but he just said Labour would table an alternative deal πŸ˜‚ OK Jeremy, you've had over two years to come up with an alternative...
  16. Labour will vote against any deal. Corbyn did so last time without even reading it. This was after he couldn't name his own '6 tests' to Laura Keunssberg. 😐
  17. Vote against any deal, even with the backstop fully removed. Nothing to lose gambling on No Deal Let's go WTO πŸ‘
  18. But we've already chosen Brexit Therefore a 'people's vote', if there was to be one, should be; May's crap deal, a different deal or the increasing popular, no deal. We are leaving, it's just a question of when and how.
  19. Plus 3 in their end, so a nice round figure Improved performance on Norwich. With hindsight, I wonder if the players were buoyed by the imminent takeover...
  20. The red highlights on the map after each answered question is interesting. 'Speg' for chewing gum is nailed to a tiny area and parts of east Midlands say teacakes, too
  21. Could've been a €uro if the EU fanatics had their way
  22. The EU is made up of 27 countries. That chart is comparing a continent to countries.
  23. Just out of interest, how how is leaving the EU directly affecting you?
  24. Tomatoes are red, Grapes are blue, and we can import them from the U.S. too
