  1. So some politicians deserve a special place in hell because they stood next a bus..?
  2. Their tears after the 2001 play off final must've been tears of joy at escaping promotion to the dreaded Premierleague. What a lucky escape they had.
  3. Leo Varadkar's true colours coming out at the end of that same press conference. What a couple of wankers
  4. Interesting article on the Irish border here: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2019/02/02/twelve-reasons-irish-backstop-makes-no-sense/
  5. The UK will be in such a shambles in April that no immigrants will want to come here. Brits will be seeking asylum in southern Ireland
  6. It's not rocket science to carry out checks away from the official border. Example, when vans leave their depots or when refugees immigrants rock up in Brittany.
  7. Out on the 29th March. No doubt whatsoever.
  8. That amendment isn't legally binding so means diddly squat.
  9. No. The game is rearranged from Saturday so is technically not a midweek game.
  10. I never aimed the fruitcake comment at anyone in particular, so not sure why you took it personally - and threw it directly at me Anyway, I have taken onboard what you said about not understanding the EU, and taken myself off the electoral register. How dare people like me be entitled to a vote.
  11. The trouble is most folk can't think outside the box and reverse the situation.. If we hadn't joined the EU and we were currently trading equally with the rest of the world, controlling our own borders etc and someone came along, and said, let's sod the rest of the world and just trade with 27 other countries, open our borders and pay £millions for the handicap, they would be brandished a fruitcake.
  12. It's becoming clearer now that May has been very shrewd to put the Backstop in her deal, as a smokescreen, with every intention of taking it out. In the meantime she is just sitting back and watching the opposition split all over the place about anything and everything - except Backstop. Most Tories, and the DUP, have stated they would vote for her deal without the Backstop. It's just a matter of time before the red herring goes, but why should she rush? Let's face it, there are only two options... 1) May's deal without the Backstop. 2) No deal .. without the Backstop.
  13. They already have done. (Withdrawal agreement)
  14. I hope you're wrong. Blowing for full time... W.T.O. 29th March, 11PM Tick Tock, Tick Tock
  15. Leaving the Customs Union and Single Market was doubled down on by both Labour and Tories in their 2017 manifestos. 84% of the electorate went for them. (The Lib Dems weren't touched.)
  16. This is precisely what we voted on in 2016! The 'deal' bit was only mentioned after the result.
  17. We knew what we were voting for in 2016 because we were all sent a leaflet telling us. Cameron then told us 28 times during the campaign that voting Leave would mean leaving the Customs Union and Single Market. It could not have been clearer to me.
  18. Pretty much how I see it. The lad scores 1 in 17 and goes back. Ken's going to need a return of more like 17 in 17 to stump up the cash - and that would be so he could sell him on. Other clubs won't fall for it, FGR have been gullible.
  19. Standing outside Rumblelows / Dixons / Comet, to get final scores.
  20. The British judge was from Preston I listened live on BBC5 live. The commentary team had Fury up in virtually every round, even in the 9th and possibly 12th.
  21. It's beyond tedious and people are seeing right through this MSM brainwashing mantra. It's the same with his name; why do they (the MSM) feel the need to constantly tell us that Yaxley-Lennon is his real name? When Cliff Richard was in court recently, I never once heard them mention Harry Webb was his real name.
  22. Unbelievable how these 20 men were allowed back on to the streets and in to contact with children while awaiting sentence. One's fled the country (and sentenced to 17 years in his absence). Same case, same judge sent Tommy Robinson sent straight down the day he was arrested...
