Former Sheffield Wednesday player Gilles De Bilde would be a perfect addition

Just seems really clear that Schuey thinks what the fans have for the last year - that the team is spineless, both mentally and physically. Half of a new spine in with Simons and Dalby, new keeper to add to that. Wouldn't surprise me to see a centre half to come in too to complete that new look spine. If AC going funds that, I've no issue. Brilliant for 5 minutes a game, terrible for 85 mostly

Yeah, wasn't making the direct comparison - just the fact that he made a big move early, and has had to build back from that. Matheson was unable to due to injury

Presume he played alongside Morley first half of last season at Wycombe. On that basis, looks a good move

Back to Dalby, he looks like he could be useful. Shown potential and then stalled. A bit like Matheson, but without the injury worries - so hopefully works out better than that. In terms of ability: Can he trap a bag of cement? If so, better than our other forwards Can he attack the ball instead of randomly barging into the player? If so, better than McAtee Does he have feet and a head that he can use? Better than our current forwards

    After this monstrosity, I'm out.

Classy announcement, although they did have to shoehorn the 50% win ratio into it! Hope IE takes his receipts with him! Did well, but looked out of his depth and out of ideas this season. No idea who comes in next, was wondering about that Mat Sadler guy at Walsall but he's only in his first season so would be a huge risk for us. Can see a 'til the end of the season' appointment myself. Lets see!

Is the rumour that Dion nutted Evatt true, or just terrace folklore?
  9. We are stuck with Ian Evatt He has no clue what we need 5 at the back, Victor in attack Never getting out of this league
  10. 5 at the back, 4 10s and Vic up top, what could go wrong?
  11. Given Randall is now a Wanderer, according to Wikipedia 😄 - can't help but feeling that a change in formation to 4-2-3-1 would far better suit the players: Southwood (Baxter) Jones (Cogley) Toal (Forino) Santos (Forrester) Johnston (Williams) Thomason (Dempsey) Sheehan (Morley) CMG (Williams / Tutu) Randall (Lolos) Collins (Schon) Charles (McAtee) It's not gonna happen, but we can live in hope!
  12. I saw Toally on the train from Manchester to the Reebok last night, and he told me he wasn't playing tonight. So he's either not playing or he was bullshitting me
  13. Whatever's happened, has happened I suppose. Surprised, and like others, not sure it's the right course of action. All I don't want to see is some sort of 'death by 100 cuts' where we keep tweaking after every defeat. Would rather one set of wholesale changes and see how things then turn out. Time will tell if the decision's right. My heart so wants it to be. My head says otherwise
  14. Let 'em do it if they need. Arseholes. Probably only renewed post COVID having only had an ST when we were in the prem

    Evatt? Stubborn? NEVER
