Scouting for Stuart Pearce at ??400,000 a week. :-$
  2. inciting racial hatred ? :D/
  3. Nah Angela Rippon. Berlin's legs were fatter.
  4. Sign him for a fiver, then give him to City for free but take ??400 compensation. Not a bad afternoons work bwfcy2k! O:)
  5. It's more than just bad results though that can stuff them. Having borrowed money against the income they must maintain that income. So rising costs, development overspend, a UEFA ban for being boring or an unexpected falling beam (Wembley) will also reduce that income. And that all means higher ticket prices which at some stage will drive people away. I'm no financial wizard, but to me this seems like taking out a loan to pay off part of your mortgage. A bad move and not one I hope that starts a trend.
  6. But the point is that they must already have borrowed heavily against the properties being built on Highbury and the Sky money to get the cash together to build the stadium in the first place. So isn't this like taking a second mortgage?
  7. And it stinks down there.
  8. Does this mean Gartside supports Bolton now then?
  9. Slippery slope paying of debts with loans.
  10. So the Arse can borrow ??260m against future ticket sales to help "pay off the debts"can they..... To me it sounds like "Ocean Finance" debt consolidation. Hope their financial director can sleep at nights. Shows that at least our finances are under some sort of control. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/5178330.stm And I love their spin.....
  11. Failed his medical it would seem Isn't that normally a route to getting a reduced transfer fee and not washing your hands of the player completely? Must be more to it than than a dodgy ankle.
  12. Take the money and run!
  13. He could go for more than just the money. http://istanbulcasual.typepad.com/ Check out the Fernando bit!!! Pass the vombucket quick. :Mm
  14. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...uth/5175346.stm Pompey seem happy to throw their cash around to survive.
  15. from the beebs gossip page! dunno whether to belive this or not! Wait until you see hin hold the White shirt , then give him a week just in case he changes his mind But we can sign him and sell him on for ??300k profit within the week.
  16. From BBC Gossip page.... "Prospective suitors interested in signing Sol Campbell have been put off by his ??80,000-a-week wage demands. (Various)". No wonder the Arse are happy to let him go! (No pun intended) ??80k?? He's not a ??4M a year player anymore is he?

  19. Chiz Traf. Needed summat to cheer me up after the transfer fiasco !
  20. I heard is was Costa Fortune. Although his wage demands may prevent us signing him. #-o
  21. Maybe has a "Cooling Off" clause in his contract. Or maybe it was a Pre-Contract Contract?
  22. "BOLTON WANDERERS wishes to clarify that although Didi Hamann signed a contract with the Club, he has since had a change of heart and will sign for another football club within the next 24 hours. Bolton Wanderers will not be making any further comment on this matter."
