The problem is we haven't much cover in those positions too many injuries
-
It won't be behind a goal in lower North stand because of you have people standing people in seats at either side and behind won't be able to see. Charlton are doing the Same it is back of upper tier behind home goal so it doesn't block views either behind or each side for people sitting down
-
If you are moving a block of 3 people like us there are few blocks of 3 together at the moment in the stadium if they wanted to do this it should be done before season tickets are renewed you will have to move a lot of 2 supporters who sit together and there just aren't enough 2 spare seats together either you can really only do crazy corner
-
Charlton history they had first substitute and used to get crowds of 35000 almost went out of business but have a large catchment area lot of support comes from kent
-
I can see Derby losing 4 points away Portsmouth and home Blackpool so if and a big if we can put away our chances and go on a unbeaten winning run 2nd is still up for grabs
-
It's other games we have dropped points in not this one over the season you end up more or less where you results have taken you
-
Let's get everyone fit for the playoffs
-
Thought fans were fantastic yesterday and it shows if you have a good ref that allows play it makes a great difference no slowing down play great team performance if we can replicate that over next 8 games we will be up
-
All players make mistakes no matter what division. we have 3rd division players that are making silly mistakes and a manager that states the obvious we are not world beaters we play some good football at times and it's a joy to watch but we are bloody frustrating as well but that's the difference between premier players and 3rd division players it's a frustrating business being a supporter but it can be brilliant when it goes right
-
If we can finish in 3rd place and Portsmouth and Derby go up I would definitely fancy our chances of winning play offs
-
Did we swap teams at half time?
-
1-2 win for us with Exeter getting a 86 min goal then 8 mins of added time just to help the stress levels
-
Too many train drivers wanting to see football matches at the weekend got to be less stressful than driving a train full of happy go luck supporter on the piss
-
I fear if we don't go up this season we will fall backwards next season to a mid table side as most side have us well and truly sussed
-
We just can't seem to get enough points off the top 5 or 6 sides to get into the top 2 places
-
Evatt said this was a weak league this season and it was a good chance for us to go up I feel if we don't do it this season the teams coming down will be stronger and I don't think we will complete for promotion next season with these tactics
-
We need a goal poacher should have gone for Alfie may he could have sneezed in an extra 10 goals for us
-
Bad result need to get back to basics not conceding bad goals if we can average 2 points per games in the games left we will we be up!
-
Shooting ourselves in the foot again
-
Poor first half looked like a mid table league 1 side, better second half. .Charlton played best game of thier season today. looks like playoffs again, can't drop points at home against bottom half teams if you want automatic promotion seems to be a lack of confidence in the side not sure they know what system they are supposed to play. But I feel if we don't go up this season we will go up next still be on target.
-
Split family today the better half is a Charlton fan so instead of sitting next to me to watch the wanderers she is in the away end, still one of us should be happy at 5:00 so I hope she not too down !
-
We look like we lack a leadership on the pitch we are losing most tackles looks like we have no plans we need to start to play to our strengths
-
I think the cheers for the long ball goal kick was frustration from the crowd you could see tapping it around at the back was putting pressure on the back line which hasn't played together. Barnsley did drop back they did win some in the air but you must be prepared to win the second ball you see it in some PREM games how high press leads to mistakes when playing short. You sometimes need to do something different football is not always percentage play it's not maths
