  1. So you think I'm wrong in thinking all those things are better ?
  2. Dr. Feelgood replied to Ani's topic in Terrace Talk
Dempsey is certainly a quality player at this level & actually does offer what it seems Randall struggles to. Plus, irrelevant maybe, but I personally feel a player who turned out with a fractured vertebrae shows an attitude few of the other limp fckrs did last season and deserves a bit of tolerance.
  3. It's not about piling pressure on. He's a million miles from an Evatt, better play, better style & a better manner. He's brought better players into the squad. That said we have only 4 wins in something close to 20 league games. That HAS to change & we need more 3pt games. Or, eventually we won't be meeting our targets. It's early days, but becoming not THAT early.

... and he is absolutely correct.
  5. Not today's but for future awareness. A Premier Experience to watch an Everton game at their new 'Ambulance Chasers R Us' stadium. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1M8QihX6oE/ From £1,199 people. FROM !!
  6. Substituted after 27 minutes after a player was sent off. HE, in this game, was the expendable one. That is either very harsh or supreme professionalism by the manager.

Same here. Doubt you'll get many takers.
  8. Meanwhile Fernerbahcę sacked Mourinho a month ago. As consolation he's just been made manager of Benfica.
  9. Quicker than I got the chance to say "bet they won't risk Evatt".
  10. Alan Waldron was a great prospect. He never really got over his broken leg v Blackpool. Him & Reid was going to be a great combination.
  11. Yep & someone gobbed on him. But very uncool of him.
  12. Being a Wrexham lad & so keen to live near his parents then I'm hoping he follows Parky into Planet Hollywood. There is growing disquiet there as, after staffing £33m on 'Championship standard' players they're only 20th. Fans openly calling for his head and questions beginning about Ryan & the other one's processes after 3 promotions in 3 years.
  13. Go on, I'll ask. Who was that ?
  14. When recruiting I made 2 basic decisions. 1. If this person was here when I walked in would I think he was an issue ? 2. Are they the best I've seen who would accept the offer ? No-one is trying to sign the World's best. They are, literally, out of our league. We're looking for someone plenty good enough & we can afford. There will be others as good, maybe a bit better, but new ones are always a risk. He's really doing us no harm imo.
  15. Well, he seems a steady character. Came up rom the deep South to Blackburn in the Championship, then us in Lg.1. Obviously money talks but we can only do what we can.
  16. Same. He puts a shift in, makes relatively few glaring errors, is rarely unavailable. Certainly not a problem at this level.
  17. I know.
  18. We did, in 2002. But David never actually played a league game for us.
  19. Maybe Erhahon gets his chance next week. Added impact due to him turning off the M61 & going right into Lostock instead of left through Blackrod & Aspull.
  20. Mrs. Mattaface. She has a son called Tom Sawyer. Could write a book about him.
  21. He must occupy the corridors like a bad smell. Always hanging over any incumbent.
  22. Obviously depends on what the lian contract is but yes, sadly, that's likely. At Brighton's current level I guess he's not going to get in the match squad often. The odd thing is that is that he was in the Championship last season, next door at Blackburn & the second manager didnt fancy him at all. Stepping down to the 3rd Division is quite a surprise.
  23. 5 x 1-1's in the last 6.
  24. That's what the BBC site says.
  25. Oren Pho, Gas St. Pretty decent. Son # lives in Northampton, as close to anyway, does Zulu of this site. Another town hollowed out by out-of-town shopping mall around it.
