  1. Seems the best place to put this. It seems Sheff Wed. won't get away with their chaos next season either ! Wednesday bidder told club face 15-point penalty. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cz0eekymmkko
  2. I'll say it now so he has time to make me appear a fool but ... what is the point of Apter ?
  3. Absolutely. He clogged the fck out of us there & God knows how he stayed on the pitch.
  4. I am so, so, so pleased for Gale.
  5. Well, it's a very long time ago & it was just Old Rivs but a guy pulled my hair & we both got sent off. Arguably because I punched him for it & he kicked me rather than the hair pulling I suppose.
  6. I was amazed that he's only 27 tbh. He certainly swallowed the Evatt 'sideways and backwards' manual. It appears, once consumed, it's difficult to get shut of.
  7. So Conway, Toal & Forino, plus Tutu. I get that we have weakness but would you boot out Conway & Forino ?
  8. The trouble is, when under pressure he goes in on himself & reverts to a light form of Evatt-ball. It's his security blanket and far too many of the longer squad are under its spell too.
  9. It really is. The grown-ups have entered the room. It might help shut my neighbour up too.
  10. £2m has been pretty consistently mentioned.
  11. Good it was a joke. I must have missed the sidesplitting humorous bit. Apologies
  12. Name me one serious player who is on a 'pay as you play' contract. Anywhere in the top 4 divisions.
  13. He came with a great reputation but in all honesty we saw little to justify it. Could be all sorts of reasons for that but I wouldn't expect it'll be Bolton who take any plunge.
  14. A 'high grade hamstring tear'. He's had similar in 23-24 season. Interestingly he stayed in Bolton for his medical rehabilitation, not going back to his parent club. He's out of contract at Middlesbrough in June. I wonder if anyone will risk him.
  15. I had missed that Barry Bannan left crisis club Sheff Wed in January after 477 league games for them. He joined, now 2nd in the table Millwall. What a pity we kept Lennon as manager and not him as a player.
  16. A bemused smirk I should think.
  17. Not 'Bolton Stuff' but nonetheless ... 1977. Is it me or are these goals just better than these days ? https://www.facebook.com/share/v/17A3Pcr7mF/
  18. If we can lose at Port Vale we can get turned over by anyone.
  19. Any idea why ?
  20. It's where he (Conway) will end up mid-career onwards.
  21. Good result, but fck knows what that team selection was about. I suspect that's the last start McAtee will get for this club.
  22. What a disasterous appointment. Actually sacked ladt weekend, but his father died so it's been kept under wraps a few days.
  23. Haah. Yes. Plus the Feinians. What a great day.
