Takes one to know one Rude old chap!! 😉
-
You’re welcome, toss pot.
-
The problem is wiggy, the bigger you’re perceived to be by the EFL, the more you get away with but these buggers have got away with murder and need to be made an example of. To be fair though, even we were given considerable latitude unlike the Burys and Macclesfield of this world but nothing like Derby who everyone can see have fiddled the figures to their advantage.
-
At least someone has a sense of humour. Too many miserable fookers on here like that bell end if you ask me.
-
Piss off you dipstick, have you never heard of satire or just having a joke? I don’t need any telling from oiks like you what Sharon’s done for the club so wind your neck in.
-
Well you reap what you sow and Derby have overspent massively to rejoin the big boys and got themselves into this mess. How lucky were they to survive last year and they may not be as lucky this season? How they haven’t had the book thrown at them stinks but surely their comeuppance must arrive some time?
-
So with her Burnley connections then, it’s maybe not only IE who recruits former mates?? 🤔
-
I think we’d all like to see him back if he’s had to return Dr. but IE will have had to find a replacement and may not want him back. Let’s just hope the injury isn’t too serious and he can be back all the sooner.
-
Ditto, all the above, let’s get the site back as it was and sincere best wishes to Neil for a quick recovery.
-
Fair enough but does that effectively end the loan because there won’t be much of it left when he’s fit?
-
Though we’d have had news on Xav’s foot injury by now but nothing so far. Let’s hope no news is good news but what if it’s not and the lad is out for at least two to three months? Can we send him back because he’s not our player at the end of the day and he’s only here until Christmas anyway, or can we extend his loan now to cover us for the whole season? Even if there’s a small penalty if we send him back, at least we can replace him and still continue with our search for another striker, which we need more than a winger I’d say? Questions for IE but surely it’s illogical to keep him if he’s definitely out for 8 weeks minimum with the injury and then another month to get him fit and getting up to speed with the systems. Sometimes you just have to accept fate and cut your losses.
-
Sorry Dim, you’re right but I already did earlier in the thread and top six is my bet. 😔
-
If we could just get Dapo scoring and hopefully a fit and well DP, we should have more of a threat but we do desperately still need at least one more proper striker. Doyle can’t take all the weight and Bako doesn’t look prolific and in the seasons we’ve done well we’ve had at least four good options. An injury to Doyler as it is and we’re in big trouble.
-
Me too, got both types now. 😉
-
Clearly a money deal and a player lacking ambition. Last thing we need here are mercenaries so glad he didn’t come but I’m sure IE sussed that out if he actually spoke to him on that basis. Good luck with Parky and hope it’s not lonely up top on your own.
-
Definitely top 6 and play offs at least. If we bring in a quality striker we’ll challenge for automatic. Not that much in L1 to be worried about in my opinion.
-
Well it’s our first real test tonight, so let’s see how the boys go. It will be interesting to see how IE plays it, whether he’ll stick with the total change at HT, or go with an eleven and make changes as needed. We need to be getting some idea of a starting eleven now so hopefully that will be the case tonight, albeit we still won’t have Doyle in the squad.
-
I actually quite liked the look of Greenidge, big, powerful, quick and seemed a good header of the ball. Yes he was raw but in fairness he wasn’t really given many chances and others in front of him pretty much cemented their places. I hope he does well on loan at Barnet and maybe well enough to get a second shot here?
-
I haven’t had a plastic card, just the E one, should I have received one? I did tick to last year but wasn’t asked again when renewing?
-
Ha, crikey I hope not maxi, that was bobbins. I’ll put it down to the heat because whilst FC would have been up for that today, our boys were still finding each other out. That’s as generous as I can be I’m afraid because our toothless squad of last season looks every bit as toothless again and unless IE has something clever up his sleeve, or asks Auntie Sharon to raid the piggy bank, I think we’re going to struggle. I’m confident he will because there’s no way this squad will score the goals to fire us to promotion.
-
Valid as that would be Dim, the government could have issues with human rights on that. We can’t even deport proven criminals so whilst it may sound good, in practise it may prove difficult. Really, we need the Social Media companies to step up and out these cretins who shame all of us.
-
Well convinced or not Dave, Ronan’s played well and scored two goals in two games, so I’m not sure exactly what you need to convince you?
-
Good article that and absolutely spot on from what I could see. Will it be any different at the World Cup? Probably not under Mr Safety First?
-
😉 When weren’t we? We don’t always have to agree.
