League 1 is easy. Play it simple in defence, with a aggressive/hardworking/hard bugger in the middle, who's got 2 jobs stop the opposition playing their game and moving the ball to a player who can pass. Coupled with some fast skillful wingers and a poacher, turns possession into goals. The reason we keep having these mistakes in defence is that Santos/Toal/Johnston are being asked to do things they're not comfortable with, being pseudo midfielders.

I can't believe this is a real target, under IE atleast and under IE he'd be a fool to come here. However, if we did employ a 4231, he's exactly the sort of player we should go for. If you run at defences at this level they can't handle it and they make mistakes, Given weve a plethora of poachers it could work, even without an out and out target man.

Drivel I'm not a fan of IE because he's not a good manager. It's not personal at all. The reason im not a fan isnt even his style, which works well against the rubbish teams. It's his lack of flexability, in game management and some recruitment decisions. He treats games like they're one off events on a calendar rather than a dynamic battles between teams. I think he's getting the worst out of a good albeit not perfect set of players. I am convinced he is holding us back and has been for some time due to the above.

My point is that we dont have forever, nobody is happy losing £5 million a year and she seems happy throwing this season away to keep giving IE...4 chances now at League 1. We'd be better off getting someone new in, and letting them have a real good go, there's still plenty of time to get into the automatics.

We're now in the 5th year of a 3 year plan to get promotion to the Championship, with the aim of selling the club for a profit.
