Owd mans 90 this year.

He couldn't go last year due to illness.

It would almost certainly be the last chance I get to see Bolton at Wembley, with Dad.

I didn't bother with any of them last season.

A personal choice. 

It would seem a bit odd though to be prepared to go to the final, even if I'd "boycotted" the rest, only to change my mind again because of who the finalists were.

As my record of watching us at Wembley is poor and I want to see us win stuff

Would I go to Wembley to watch the team I love playing to win a trophy? Yes.

Say what you want about the tournament but our players would have turned out and won match after match, in shitty grounds, midweek, in front of very few fans. I think they’d deserve a big day out too.
