The best thing tonight is that we have completely rested Charles, Santos, Williams, Cogley, Thomason and Baxter. And sheehan and vic only had cameos, so all will be fit and firing for Saturday. 

If we keep going in this comp, same rotation needed. 

Well done the boys out there, every credit to getting us through to the quarters.

Hope we don’t have league games this season where both Santos and Jones don’t play.

We really are rather good for this level

Biggest pluses, Cams goal, JDB looking at his best for 95 and Mathieson, couple of iffy crosses apart, very exciting addition

Actually felt a bit for Matherson, the quality into him for the most part was poor but fair play to him, he kept getting into good positions and kept plugging away. Thought he did well.

Business is business , im not one to argue ticket prices , you either pay or you dont and ive paid well above the odds for tickets in the past. My choice. But you cant seriously think our owner has just trousered 40K , ala your other post ?

Not that bothered about this comp but I do enjoy the winning mentality and I defo think there is something in this breeds confidence malarkey.

Atmosphere felt pretty flat tonight.  Didn't think we started particularly well but found ourselves 2 up.  They're a horrible, scrappy team, always leaving a foot in, very physical etc but couldn't cope once we went less direct.

Jerome and JDB were excellent. Matheson played well and will get better. Midfield in the 2nd half bossed it.
