Nobody's suggesting we've tightened up at home 😀 I don't know what the conclusion is other than that yes we concede more now and don't keep clean sheets, but we had some horror shows last season too. Its just we had that great purple patch of 5 clean sheets on the trot (Charlton, Shrewsbury, Blackpool, Exeter, Oxford) around November. And as you say we seemed to have the knack away from home of conceding nil or one, upto Feb. We had 7 clean sheets on the trot.

We'd played two more homes than aways by the turn of the year that included the Wigan and Carlisle horror shows, skews those numbers a bit maybe, plus some more favourable opponents in the away run. Going back to the earlier post though, it's the defending that has got progressively worse over the last two seasons and needs addressing as a foundation for a more stable second half of the season. This time two seasons ago we'd conceded 20, last season 24, this season 33. Not a sequence that can continue.
