  • Collins worked his balls off last night. He's a rolls royce at this level.  Lad needs building around.

Aside from his goal last week?…  he’d only been on the pitch 10 minutes 🤣

  • Solid win. Northampton were a tidy team and a lot better than I was expecting. We looked knackered for the most part (not a surprise after Saturday). Our first was brilliant, thought we’d cruise

Both Jones and JDC could fill the right back role with Murphy on the left if we went to a back four but I think doing that wouldn’t fit our current squad too well and leave players out who feel they should be in the side, not just Desmond and Schon but Toal and Santos as well as Forino when he’s fit. I think I’d stick with the 3 until our new manager can develop his own system. I felt the other night players seemed a bit in between. They didn’t want to be seen to be passing around at the back too much so instead just lumped it forward to players who then couldn't deal with it and it made it all a bit muddled. Hopefully once the new guy comes in and they get on the training pitch it will all come together better?

From my angle in NSL, I reckon it would've hit me full in the face if there was no net. A sublime strike.

I was probably looking right at your face as it went in and I spaffed everywhere

Tutu takes up some very questionable positions while defending. Did he play mainly as a winger before coming here by any chance?

Players may well feel they should be in the side, irrespective of formation.

Lolos seemed to do fairly well at Huddersfield, but was dropped.

Part and parcel of a squad system.
