Half price tickets for Fulham game.

Featured Replies

BWFC are offering half price tickets for the Fulham game to those buying a ticket for the Norwich game.

Does this mean us ST holders are in line for a refund, does it f??ck!

Once again the JCL's are getting a better deal.

A full priced East / West Lower ST is ??495 ie ??26.05 a game, so ??52.10 of your money goes on the Fulham and Norwich games.

This offer means a non Season Ticket / club member can watch the games for ??37.50.

OI GARTSIDE! I WANT ??14.60 BACK NOW!

Another great way of p??ssing the loyal season ticket holders off.

He's just trying to fill the ground for 2 meaningless visitors. Cannot blame him. Better to have these people in the ground spending money than not at all. Isn't one of the games the specified freebie for Junior Whites?

=D> well said Traf =D>

I thought exactly the same when I read it.

Gartside your a red ginger ](*,)

i disagree with trafs rant

anything that gets folk in the ground gets my vote

and as for your maths

you could look at it another way

that being we have different categories of games, so a lower percentage of your season ticket money is actually for these games

anything that gets folk in the ground gets my vote

exactly.

Once again the JCL's are getting a better deal.

you`ll probaly find the jcl`s are mostly season ticket holders.....

or to put it another way

most season ticket holders are jcl's

he could easily sort out this in future by giving a free ticket for a carling cup game to ST holders.

WTF is a JCL

not vvitk me

:::::::lol:::::::

what the f??ck does WTF mean?

:-k

GKHS

It actually says "Buy A Canary And Get A Cottage For Half Price!!"

That's sounds like some gay code that Gubbins and his men would use :-#

GKHS = Garreth Keith Hyde, sausagejockey?

Too f??cking simple, my learned friend.

As for you Casino [-X , work it out whichever way you want. Season ticket holders are still getting a bum deal here. If you're a club member, then all games cost ??25 in the East or West Lower tier, regardless of who we play. A season ticket in these areas works out at ??26.05 per game. Obviously the member has to pay a membership fee, which is ??30 per season making the average cost of a game ??26.58.

So, for these two games the following costs apply:

Season ticket holder: ??52.10

Member: ??40.66 (??37.50 for the 2 tickets plus 2/19ths of the membership fee)

Casual supporter: ??37.50.

I appreciate that BWFC are trying to boost numbers for what will be 2 poor crowds, but surely they should try and pacify some of us Season Ticket holders as well: people who have put their money in up front!

One last thing about the membership lark:

It costs ??30 a year and all games are ??25, you get to pick and choose your games and the total cost for the year if you went to every game would be ??505. The Season ticket is ??495 and you're stuck with either going or wasting your money. In other words any ST hlder who knows they're going to miss at least one game a season would be financially better off just being a member. They still get priority on tickets as well.

Gartside is taking the Season ticket holders for another ride. He's the kind of bloke who'll piss on you and tell you it's raining!

Traf - What do you actually want the club to do?

Don't forget that season ticket holders received at the start of the season a booklet with....

??1 off the matchday programme

??5 off a ??50 spend in the club shop

A FREE yearbook

And you get a quarterly magazine.

It's snowing here now - wonder what Phil is up to :-k

To be honest I think a bigger problem than getting non ST holders in is getting the ST holders to turn up and hence give the atmosphere a chance. Dont forget that with your ST you are counted as being there even if you're not - so our attendance figures are a bit phoney for many of the games.

TRAF - THESE 2 GAMES COULD BE THE SO CALLED FREE GAMES WE GET WHEN PURCHASING A SEASON TICKET , SO GET OFF YER SOAP BOX YER BIG GIRL , PEOPLE CANT AFFORD SEASON TICKETS OR MATCH TICKETS SO WHATS WRONG WITH GIVING THEM A BETTER CHANCE TO SEE THE CLUB THEY SUPPORT !

i am going to sit on the fence here...

as a season ticket holder, whay does the club do to repay my commitment ? i am not even guaranteed my own seat for a cup game. even if i buy the ticket the clubs stewards will not enforce it and i do not want to spend the afternoon arguing about it. i do not get a discount for cup games. but as a business they have my money so are probably not bothered.

people buying tickets for end of season (meaningless ?? with a european place up for grabs ???) are being offered a cheap ticket, for me that makes it more likely the ground will be full and a better atmosphere so more enjoyable.

it is the old thing that businesses will pay more to attrect a new customer than they will to reatin an existing one. as a season ticket holder i would liek them to odo a bit more for me, but i will buy a season ticket next year so why should they ?

i am going to sit on the fence here...

that's got to be worth a joke or two :D

POOR FENCE

So... Can anyone tell me exactly why I should get a season ticket next year?

Better off picking up deals like this, most away game tickets go on open sale anyway, you aren't guaranteed to get your seat for cup games and don't even mention cup final tickets!!!

you saying priority for elton john isn't doing it for you

No priority for Coldplay tickets though hey...

some folk are never satisfied
