Can't wait for next Thursday @ OT. Plan loadsa beer and even more abuse directed at shane warne.

Also going to the Thursday (and Sunday too).

Sounds like Flintoff and Pietersen doing well - touch wood. [-o<

240-4 off 46 overs is a good start. Though a truly big total rests with these two.

im sat in front of the lodge.

do they have wide angle lenses?

OOH, you bitch!

I see Australis amassing about 500 runs, and then us getting another 400 or so runs in our second innings.

The boundries just seem far too short to me.

I presume there is no rainb forecast over the next few days, so it does look like we should get a winner - let's just hope it's us!

The wicket should deteriorate by the end of Day 3. If we can restrict the Aussies to a similar score to ours and then set them 300-350, it might be difficult batting last on that wicket. However, the 2 key elements are not letting them run away with a first innings lead and us scoring 300+ in the 2nd innings.

Warne just gone. Less than 300 on the board and only 3 wickets left - Gillespie, Kasprowicz, Lee - with Gilchrist at the other end still.

308-9 Gillespie lbw Flintoff 7

308 all out Kasp lbw Flintoff 0

Lead of 99.

25-1 at close. Anyone see Warne bowl Strauss? The ball moved 90 degrees!

That was outrageous. What a genius. Anyway, I think 400+ lead we want. bat till Sunday afternoon or roundabout. The highest ever 4th innings to win a game has been 208 at Edgbaston, and it DEFINITELY won't a draw...

I'm worried about what Warne might do to us tomorrow.

We need to get after the bowlers at the other end.

300 lead will make a game of it, but I'm not overly confident we'll get there.

This is our best chance of beating them, healthy lead, pity about losing Strauss in the final over though and no Mcgrath
