Hello from a newbie, yeh 6 of us are on that trip plus another 10 staying in guimares who've booked thru other sources. I reckon it should be a great crack in that little town before/after the game. On the wednesday i suppose we could always do porto or braga for a bit more life, but guimaraes will defs be the place to be thursday.

Guimaraes will be the place to be for all the nights - full of Bolton, there must be 3 hotel rooms left in the whole town. There will be so many Bolton we could turn a church into a nightclub! It will be like the Happy Duck in Sunny Beach.......but without the hookers.....and the beach......and the cheap booze.....and the shit food....

We're in Porto on Wednesday night & Guimaraes on Thursday night, so hopefully we'll have 2 excellent nights.

 

I've done a bit of research & the Ribeira area (down by the river & close to the giant, steel bridge) looks like a great place to go in Porto at night, so hope to see some more of you there.

 

I think there will be so many Whites fans in Guimaraes, which seems to be a relatively small centre, that wherever you go there are bound to be loads of fans.

Don't want to piss on your bonfire but I've been out in Porto and it's a shit night out mid-week.....Ok at weekends but nothing special. I would get a taxi down to Guimaraes and join in with the 100,000,000 Bolton fans that will be down there. :D/

Spoke to mate of mine and he went on Happy's tour to Bulgaria and said it was mint.

 

Flights,transfers and hotel were spot on.

 

No issues at all and well organised.
