Smiley Posted January 24, 2006 Author Posted January 24, 2006 The Lost Boys, a Bolton band who did fairly decent covers of the Jam,Buzzcoxks etc, used to be on the local boozer circuit in the early nineties, but never got any further than that. Lead singer was a little fella called Paul Davies i think, not seen him for ages. Think he's busy selling washing machines and stuff now.... has new premises on Manchester Road (near to BOC cars)
Burndens Bogs Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 I never realised it was the same Paul Davies that sold washing machines and was in the band. I learn something new on here every day! If the Lost Boys are still going, they are worth a look, good fun and a competent band, the lead singer even lets pisspots join him on vocals!
Lennie Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Burn the Mona Lisa They are still around I think. Used to be called amigo. My sister used to shag the lead singer. =; Release The Bats ;dd They were excellent. Saw them many times in various pubs and clubs.

Whites man Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 King of the Slums Good call. Barbarous English Fayre desperately needs re-releasing. Quality band, Charley wrote some great lyrics, nothing similar until the Arctic Monkeys. All three albums were on CD in X Records the last time I was in. Link to a KOTS site if anyone's interested. http://www.btinternet.com/~birdpoo/kots.htm
