Rival fans visiting Wanderersways

Featured Replies

I thought I would open a new thread about this because it's pissing me off every time a fan from another team comes on here some WWays people tell them to f***k off back to where they came from before we have found out if they have come to talk football

I enjoy the banter with opposing fans especially in the pubs outside the ground. Even the Rusky Zenits had a good laugh with us in the HPI and the experience in Marseille for the lads that I travelled with was superb because a couple of OM fans took my mobile number in the Beehive pub in the first leg and met up with us over there.

If the away fans visit WWays and start giving abuse without our lot provoking it then let the mods do their job and ban 'em.

I also enoy the banter with the opposition, so much so that meeting one at Upton Park when the Spammers were last int prem has now led to me being nealry wed to one :D

It's all a big laugh, I'm sure most people who rip into the Happy Hammers & the like are really just on a wind-up. I know I am =;

You should be dancing - yeeeaaaah

Totally agree.

Away fans are always welcome on the WHU forums I post on below, you do get some interesting debate with rival fans. It may have escaped most people's attention on here that we play you twice in 5 days, so you must expect some of us posting on this forum!

As for the upcoming fixtures, I think you will win the league game 2-1 and we will win the replay after extra time.

I really hope that you finish above spuds in that final champs league place but it will be tough going for you, with Arsenal starting to turn the corner again.

As for us, I will be well pleased with a top half finish as its way above anything we expected back in August.

We would need the UEFA cup places to go down to 7th for us to stand any chance of making Europe next season.

You are welcome to post on these sites:

Well said Zozzy, I'm glad someone has raised this issue instead of me always ranting on.

I know most of you (WWays lot) write things with tongue in cheek, but please don't keep giving rivals fans the back hand approach when they visit our site.

We are not 'Rivals.net' and nor do we wish to be, but the idea of people from other clubs joing in 'our' banter widens the horizons of this site and indeed makes for an interesting read.

Therefore, please don't tell them to f*** off, if you do experience a problem or offended by some comments, please send a PM to which ever MOD is on-line at the time and ask them to deal with it. For those who read the board and are not members you can always email me with your grievance.

Keep the forums in the true spirit it was intended for.

Thanks

HW

I have no problems with other fans coming on here. The rival fans who are c0cks, should be banned though.

Let the decent ones stay.

Who are the decent ones then Horwich?

i like the idea of other teams supporters coming on this site, however, i think Sue is taking things to extremes by planning to marry one.

Is that for the sake of inter-footballing relations Sue or does he 'go like a hammer'?

I agree that we should welcome the visit of other fans to the site. But let's be fair, half of the abuse is coming from them too. Plus, if we abuse them, they come back for more and 7/10 the topic of conversation is actually constructive amongst all of the cat-fighting.

Just telling someone to f*** off is a bit pathetic, but again, it raises a laugh now and then!

I personally preferred the Rivals set-up when we had regular banter each week with the forthcoming opposition. This site has become stale due to the lack of visitors, so fair play to the West Ham lads for digging out this site and visiting it.

Now f*** off you cockney cnts!!!!! (you love it really!!!)

I will fcuk off after next weeks cup game, honest!

"Laaaarv it......"

:D

here is an example of people taking t'internet farrr to seriously.

i think the west ham fans have come on here trying to have a laugh and wind people up, it used to be called having a bit of banter.

i will continue to tell people who post crap to fcuk off no matter where they come from.

if fans of other clubs enter into a reasonable debate will do the same.

if anyone feels any differently that do nt read my posts.

i will talk football with anyone who has a sense of humour and passion about the subject till my ears (or fingers in this case) drop off.

if they say stuff that annoys me i will enter into an arguement constructive or otherwise with them i will not go running to a moderator saying they have been nasty.

it is only an internet board. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

no problem sir! 8-[

Think sometimes visiting fans can "overpost" replying to every little criticism and being too sensitive. Then it spirals a bit with the same friggin argument dozens of times.

But it doesn't always go tits up with visiting fans coming on here.

With Geordieboy last week the banter/debate was quite good and generally with Marseille fans too.

Bollox ...cnuts! :D O:)

well last week in the interest of fair play,i invited a group of hammers to the h.q of walkden whites.

they are mulling our offer over

this follows on from visitsd to our club from

man city

everton

we are building bridges

To be honset ive got no beef with Bolton , Much sooner see you or Wigan in The Champs league than The Spuds (please it can't happen).

And like you say its all a larf and don't mean any of it....Honest O:)

Plus if you beat us next Wednesday i will be noping you go all the way (esp if its chelscum in the final with ya). :D

=D>

This is how I see it. Rival fans come on here and the vast majority, over a period of time, will be told to feck off. This leads to threads turning in to drivel and the only people reading them are the ones who are barking at each other. This leaves the genuine poster, from both sides, not getting involved in any other thread because there is a very good chance it will just turn in to a slanging match.

Rivals is absolutely fecking shite and is full of boring posters with boring threads and retarded opposition fans posting inane posts just to get a bite. That???s why most of us left the thing. Lets not turn WW in to Rivals mark2. If anyone is out of order, from either side, then that???s when our under worked mods pull their fingers out and sort it.

But would you rather talk football with Rival fans or with Women?

Because Women obviously know nowt about football.
