not that I booed but people were not booing the club but the players, they booed at the end of each half not during the game as the players were showing a clear inability to beat Boro reserves due to lack of urgency or effort and enabling Intertoto qualification in our hands not Newcastles. At Category A prices people had the right to boo an awful performance.

Booing is just wrong seeing as we're finishing in the top half of what is seen as the most difficult league in the world. I'll be giving the boys a cheer and a wave!

there's a few who booed nicky hunt during the game against Boro

 

some people aren't coming back to the Reebok next season

 

some think this season has been a massive let down

 

add to that Alladyce's public begging for the England job

 

I was just wondering what the reaction will be Sunday - will the Reebok be like Hitler's when he got the gas bill, or are we going to be vocal, show our appreciation of the club and manager for 90mins and get behind the lads 100%

Now we are seeing the good times. We've got 21,000 STH and our expectation levels are higher, or so I???m told, and people are quiet happy to boo the team.

 

We've seen Bolton play and have a good run in Europe, and we are due another top half finish AGAIN!

I remember being at Burnden in the old third division and the team getting booed, but not often.

 

I don't mind a disappointed boo at the end of a particulary bad performance but booing individual players for me is unacceptable. This trend is there with Nicky Hunt this season and I hate it!! A player struggling for form isn't going to suddenly improve when the crowd gets on his back, quite the opposite in fact.

 

As for Allardyce complaining, he should remember that the fans have sat back for the last 3 months and listened to him harp on about the England job. Not one boo was aimed at him despite his wish to walk out on a half done job. I will continue to support him as long as he shuts the f??ck up and gets on with managing the Wandereers. I reckon it is no coincidence that his interviews with the FA coincided with our dreadful run of defeats. He took his eye off the ball.

He currently plays at right back for Bolton Wanderers. That, in my book, makes him a premiership footballer.

The atmosphere will be good on Sunday as always at the last match of the season, pity we can't keep it up for every other game.

the reason I want Sam out is because he likes to defend when we are losing and not go for a win or draw.

 

For some reason he can't see that we play good football on the floor. If we do, he likes to change it when we are playing well.
