UK's hottest ever day

Apparently will happen tomorrow, with expected temperatures of 39 degrees in the SE of England.

This weather will then break, loads of thunderstorms etc, but staying warm.

Traf,

the Wincey Willis of Wanderersways. :D

Ahhh, alliteration! That's nearly as good as onomatopoeia!

well then Wincey, how hot is it going to be for the next fortnight in St. Tropez?

It's so hot my poo has melted

I went to the bog earlier and it had turned to chocolate water

Low 30's, mate. Occasional risk of thunderstorms.

Merci bien, mon Ami

There crust under my foreskin like a tatty pie

The amount of birds round here was amazing on my dinner, I'm going to invest ina pair of binoculars while it's still hot I think.

There were also loads of manc jelly-baby gangsters limping (literally) around as well, so that was summat to laugh at while I was mooching round without enough money for a pint.

I might pull a sickie tomorrow - any good excuses anyone?

PB

Mr Whippy just turned up here.

Whatever happened to white Ice cream men?

pb,

Try using Mr. Two Hats reason - melted poo. No boss is going to enquire further.

I mentioned somewhere else on here that every part of the building I'm in is aircon'd apart from the bogs.

The ones the chaps use smells in this heat like an Iraqi sidestreet.

Plus melted pooh.

He's probably about right you know. Early to mid 30's at the mo over here, thunderstorms about twice a week, normally late afternoon/early evening.

39C? Pah! We get 46 and 47C in February. Must admit though, 30C in England feels a lot hotter than 30C here.

  • Author

Aye, but we get 47F in April! :D

What's wrong with Towyn?

I think maybe it was a little rhetorical wasn't it? Anyway, in reality I was more an Abersoch kind of girl! We stopped in Towyn on the way so my dad could show us what we could have done of a summer if we had no taste or money! :D

That was a glorified caravan park for the wannabes. We went in a friend's cottage in the 'city centre'. They had one of those beach huts too! Happy memories! :D
