Traf
And she has one running in the 2:30 at Lingfield tomorrow - Atlantic Quest. I may have a little flutter as she did a job for me today. Atlantic Quest could only finish 4th of 14, but she had a blinder yesterday. She sent 7 out (4 to Ludlow and 3 to Exeter). She had an 11/2 winner, a 9/4 3rd, a 16/1 4th and one pulled up at Ludlow. Exeter was even better with 2 winners: 4/1 and 14/1 and a 10/11 2nd, but as we know odds on favourites aren't very reliable!
newquaywhite
If no one has been on mrs thorpe the last few days you dropped her at the right time. The last 3 runners have failed to place, previous two did at big odds so i'll let her off but its knackered my ranking in a certain tipster comp. Peephole is now running in the 1:30 at Wincanton on Wednesday. It is one of 48(!) runners, though. Haven't a clue on the odds but they'll probably be very long... top_boy_84
Hope you didn't back either of those! Fortunately not...just watching! Surprisingly poor performance from Lunar Eclipse who was a good winner at Exeter a week before Xmas.

top_boy_84
Mrs Thorpe has got Moorlands Return running in the 3:40 at Newbury tomorrow... Came second last time out at Warwick on heavy ground. Just noticed she's also got a novice called Valiant Shadow running in the 2:05 at Newbury. Just noticed she's also got a novice called Valiant Shadow running in the 2:05 at Newbury. Moorlands was 3rd at 5/2f Valiant was 4th at 50/1 in its first run for Thorpe. One to watch, perhaps, especially if it drops from Class 4.

newquaywhite
Thats interesting, ive been keeping track on her enteries but stopped backing her for a bit now (amercan horses is more fun at the mo) I saw that valiant shadow hadnt placed just assumed it ran a stinker but never checked, will be having a much closer look next time out. does anyone know if she still works with maidstone monument or what has become of the bounder? Traf
Maidstone Monument is still at Thorpe's yard. It last ran on 10th September 2006 when as a 7/2 fav it was pulled up with a muscle injury. Hasn't reappeared yet, and at 11 yr old it takes a bit longer to recuperate. IMO it won't reappear until the ground stops being heavy, as it goes best on good going. top_boy_84
Mrs Thorpe has Overclear running in the 4:20 at Hereford tomorrow and looks to have a decent enough chance, though I'm not too sure of the odds. Venetia Williams had yet another two winners today at Fontwell, though Schuh Shine was 4/9F and Heez A Dreamer was only 11/8.
