depends on the player too, carrick might not sign a contract and try to leave on a free if they wouldn't sell him, but i can't imagine nolan doing the same, any club would have to prise him away.

 

I would imagine Nolan, like any other footballer, could easily be prised away for say another ??5000 per week

If they had already made 1 or 2 decent signings then Tottenham would never have got more than 12 million for him. They made fools out of manure.
