Was a decent player althouigh not played much last season but not the most reliable of sources anyway!

I agree, why not. We're light on numbers in midfield since losing Okocha, Nakata and Fadiga and he is a decent player. I know he didn't play much for Spurs last season but they've got about 35 midfielders in their squad.

Sams the man to get Murphs carreer back on track,he was playing well till he had a fall out with Curbishley, then he made the wrong move in going to Spurs because they had about 12 midfielders - Could be the new Gary Speed - SIGN HIM.

Would be a good signing IMO - good passer and set-piece taker, but I fear it could be the press being lazy - he gets offered to Wigan and now all of a sudden we're after him - particularly if it's only in the Sin. Hasn't he got a celeb-type wife and London-centric lifestyle?

anyway, never really rated him that highly, don't think we're big enough for him, but if sam wants him, and gets him, all well and good

I always thought he'd do a job for us.

I wanted us to sign him before he went to Charlton.

I didn't like his unneccesary comments on leaving Charlton and going to Spurs about going to a 'bigger' club etc. Not sure if a personality like he appears to have will fit in well here. Having said that, he may have been misquoted and I may have to give the lad the benefit of the doubt.

At ??2million i think it is a bit steep as he didnt play alot of game at the last half of the season. ??1.5million with and extra 500k depending on appereances. Awesome player, definatly would improve our midfield and would improve all aspects of the team.

Absolute horse. He was by far the best player at Charlton at the time. Ask the fans they were gutted when he went to the Spuds.

No, I meant up himself from the sound of his transfer interview. So less of the
