yank lad, johan smith

it was Johan smith, it is the first time i have seen him and he is seriously quick, suprised sam played him upfront on his own with Vaz te wide, would have thoght it makes sense to play vaz te upfront and smith out wide.

maybe he will come good this season and be the reason why we havent signed a striker :D/ :D/

he also played in last seasons aisa trophy for us

On the left wing if I remember full of pace then but without the ability to cross. I presumed then he was with us solely for pace . Maybe Sam sees something in the lad after all.

I remember him at Bury last pre-season - like sh??t off a shovel

He played in a lot reserves matches last season too. Definate potential.

Delroy facey was like shit off a shovel, or was he a spade who was shit?

I can't remember: the absinthe and vimto cocktails are kicking in.

smith may be quick, but in the 3 or 4 times ive seen him play, i have yet to see any real footballing ability in him.

I remember watching Darren Campbell have a trial with Argyle in 96. He kept leaving the ball behind

he sat behind me once at bristol rovers (or maybe city) in the cup. nathan blake played in midfeild coz someone was sent off and i think arnie the bald batty boy scored.

anyway, he must have been blakeys mates coz he was givin his loads of shit, more than ive ever seen anybody abuse a player...

Must've been at Ashton Gate, Bristol City. That match was on Sky on a midweek night. Arnee's goal was a touch of class.

Did a Cruyff turn to dummy the keeper, and about three defenders, then buried it into the roof.
