Instead the football industry have closed ranks and the people mentioned in the programme are keeping their heads down until it has blown over and they can sweep it under the carpet.

Now just because the journalists are BBC programme makers the general public think they have some kind of credence They all piss in the same pot. The big climax to their documentary was 50K being counted out in a hotel bedroom and the dodgy football man was supposed to come and get caught red handed. I doubt it though, what would be the point of holding it back? You are probably right about nobody sueing them.. I reckon there are shady goings on throughout football and the less said the better according to a lot involved in the programme. A lack of action will tell a lot in my opinion

A lack of action will tell a lot in my opinion But if they were sqeaky clean it wouldn't matter what evidence the BBC has, they can't prove anything against them but if they are not well best hope it blows over quickly.

Given the seriousness of the allegations and possible implications then if anybody is prepared to sue then I think they'd like to spend more than a couple of days at putting a case together, and deciding whether or not to proceed.
