Ticket Office Shambles

I phoned the ticket office this morning to purchase a ticket for a friend for Saturdays game (which would have made it a total of 10) when he realised that I had already purchased 9 he said that I could have no more as he thinks I am selling them to munich fans, what right has this bell end on the other end of the phone got to tell me I am selling them to away support, I asked him to look at the tickets I had bought this seaeson, Newcastle 3, portsmouth 2, Blackburn 4 all away games so obviously you are not going to be able to get as many of the lads coming. At this time I was becoming severly pissed off especially after he hung up on me, so I left work and drove upto the TO to have a word with him to see what the problem was. As soon as I turned uo he began to change his story saying that he had never mentioned me selling the tickets to united fans and that I had try to buy 2 which would have taken me to 11 in which case you need written permission he also said that he had a recording of it so I asked if I could come and listen to it he gave a smug laugh and said unlucky you are getting no more tickets, obviously now I was getting more and more pissed off, so I went inside to complain I was given the number of the ticket office manager and told to ring him, when I did he was the most arrogant prick I have spoke to, full of attitude, "you listen to me young man" all that usual shit.

Anyway the be all and end all is another seat will be empty on Saturday and I and some of the lads wont be going to the Reebok again this season.

WELL DONE TICKET OFFICE YOU ARE A CREDIT TO YOUR CLUB

Sounds about right for the ticket office, just a room full of jumped up knob heads....

ticket office manager is only early 30s

ticket office manager is only early 30s

does not matter he is early 30s he should be able to deal with the general public in a cordial manner.

It was in reply to "you listen to me young man"

The MASSIVE problem here is that we have nowhere to complain about the ticket office, hence the numerous threads on here.

The ticket office manager is, judging by reports, a prick.

Gareth Moores is above him and to desribe him as a complete prick would be a compliment.

Phil Gartside is above him and will back him all the way, a la their comedy duo act on GMR.

Edwin Davies is above him and will not give a flying f??ck.

For what it's worth, write to Big Sam, informing him that next time he's complaining about our support, to consider the fact that the public facing part of the club is such a joke may have some impact on that.

Post dogshit through the letter box

Tis the only reasonable action left open to you.

BWFC have a Customers Charter as do every club and this is the formal route to complain, but it's missing one key element, there is no telephone number or email address to complain to.

Anyone who has held a job down for more than half a day will know that that charter isn't worth the web page it's written on. There is no accountability, and that is an utter disgrace.

I blame the ticket office.

Does anybody remember the farmer who sprayed the NatWest Bank with cowshit as a protest?

The time has come for us to do the same to the ticket office.

He was called David Cannon and this was an example of his fine work!

Get it organized

organized???

are you a yank?

To be honest, ticket office sound in the right to me. How was the bloke not to know you were selling tickets to other fans? Like any other ticket office they have got to cap amounts to stop touts.

Ok, it sounds as though you weren't dealt with in a brilliant manner, but the policy seems sound.

Just an opinion, don't all start having a go!

What if you was only buying 2 or 3 does that mean you are not selling them on or acting as a tout, off course they need to have a policy but they have all my details and if I was to sell them on to away fans I would not be allowed tickets again.

The place is a joke

But at those amounts its not so much of a problem.

Also you can't run a ticket office on a 'Don't do that again' policy.

Maybe you should think your gloryhunting one game of the season mates dont deserve a ticket? If their not on the database its quite obvious they have never applied for a ticket, just because you went to portsmouth on a monday night doesnt give you the right to get tickets for lads who go once a year?

Doubt you have 9 mates anyway :D
