hold on, how do you know who is who.

i for one have never booed a player in my life, nor have i said "i could run around for 20k a week"

yes footballers are well paid and for me, they deserve every penny.

there are cunts in all walks of life doing all kinds of jobs for all kinds of money.

footballers are just an easy target.

Ok....so when Nolan leaves. I full expect great support, and applause, and best wishes sent to him.

And course you wont boo him when you play against him.

Pablo - that's the nature of the game - people move onto bigger and better things.

yes people will, I wont...

if a decent player leaves then so be it, i have far more important things in life to worry about...

Can't believe that some folk on here reckon they'd turn down an extra ??1m+ (based on a 4-yr contract) to stay with the club they came through the academy of.

Aye, but the extra ??1m is slightly offset by the fact you are coining ??10m plus in those four years. Plus the next four years after that.

Is money everything to you?

Whatever happend to players taking a wage cut, to fulfill their dream/ambition ???

Name a valid reason why Cole should have stayed at Arsenal...

As for ambition, Pablo - Cole will win something this season at Chelsea. Arsenal will win nob-all.

Just the same as if you were at Bolton, and United wanted you!!

Oh, and what has Roney won since leaving us.....The mighty Legaue Cup!

It aint the same as I've been going to Bolton since I was about 4. Cole isn't a hardened Arsenal fan, he just came through their youth ranks.

Rooney would never have won anything at Everton, unfortunately he will win many trophies at Utd.

Cole went to Chelsov & is getting more money - good for him. How he can try and defend leaving by saying he 'wasn't wanted' is beyond me, though?

I hope the little c??nt gets his leg snapped :good:

Well we will never know now will we, as he left.

But what i'm saying is, players are too quick to jump ship, he didnt even give us a chance.

Sorry but winning a trophy with Man United wil/would mean fcuk all to very very little to me. No value whatsoever.

I agree with all of that. I have no time for him and the way he's gone about things.

People need to remember his head will be getting packed from his bird, his agent etc. They have no loyalty to any club. Players who have been with clubs since an early age have no concept of the real world

As opposed to the Champions League he would have won if he'd stayed at Everton?

Not the point is it ?? and you know it.

It is if you're talking about ambition.

As you were earlier in the thread.

IF he left for Ambition then its not worked upto now....but we all know he will win things.

My point again, is that players are too quick to jump ship and chase the coin.

I would not have moved, in Rooneys/Cole's situations.

I agree 100% with Pablo on this one.

There may come a point in your career when you want to join a club with loads of top players. But these kids betray their clubs far too soon.

Aye, but you never know what's going to happen and if an opportunity presents itself you may not get another chance...

Bottom line is: Rooney is rightly perceived as a scab by the blue half of Merseyside.

He made a rod for his own back by proclaiming: once a blue, always a blue.

Although for footballing reasons, he was right to move.

I agree 100% with Pablo on this one.

did everton not get a vast amount of money for his transfer

I would never leave Bolton for Utd regardless of money. they are filth

Alan Shearer is an example of someone who rejected Utd becasue wanted to play for his hometown club, so it is about. I think I heard that Steven "Elivis" Pressley took a pay cut to stay at Hearts last summer, and now hes being booted out. Come to mention it would you have him?

Unfortunately, loyalty can be misread as a lack of ambition ie Steve Bull and Matt le tissier.

As for Pressley, no thanks.
