Even in my current semi drunken state i find it hard to believe that Warne is a bit of a playboy. I wouldnt think he was worth one after 2 litres of vodka.

Grew up watching the England team, absolutely bored to tears by Edmonds and Emburey. They???d turn the ball a millimetre every 100 balls. The odd visiting spinner wasn't bad I suppose e.g Abdul Qadir but then along came a bloke who could do this....

Totally changed cricket, as everybody wanted their own Warne and not many can say that. Also an underrated batsman too. Never made a Test match century but deserves one ??? his highest score is 99 btw.

 

Very surprised by his decision. I was at Old Trafford 15 months ago when took his 600th Test wicket - and now he's on 699. How long does it take our bowlers, who are decent enough, to get 100 Test wickets?

 

Wouldn't mind being at the MCG (his home ground) when he gets his 700th.
