Must say Campo looked like he was going to drop dead at the final whistle, he looked so unfit!

Tal Ben Haim was MOTM, best player on the park by far

Anelka, Diouf, Speed and Andranik were excellant.

Speed was dire until 70 mins, Andranik was getting out muscled off the ball too easily time after time and could not get into the game, Diouf was very effective at times but quite at others and Anelka lacked decent service and support when he did finally get the ball.

I'm beginning to wonder if I will ever put a post on here that people agree with!

I'll add my ten penneth for what it's worth..I thought meite and tbh were superb at the back. I thought Speed had his poorest game for a longtime and Nolan was distinctly average....as is usual these days. Campo was shown up for what he is...he is not a right back and showed it tonight...never again Sam! Diouf was different class tonight and the defenders on whatever side he went down shit themselves everytime he took them on but the quality of the final cross/pass just lacked a little bit for me. Andranik showed a lot of energy however he was a litlle lightweight in the 50/50 tackles and he'll need to add this aspect to his game for him to compete at the highest level in the EPL. Stelios was dire, his hesitation in the second half was unforgiveable and The Elk showed his usual class but surprisingly lacked composure in front of goal. Overall we can't argue with the result the Arse had the quality and the difference between this game and the league game is that we took our chances in the league game and not in this and you just can't afford to do that against the top four.

Nobodies really mentioned Gardner, which is probably a good thing as he's only getting back to fitness. A nice okay performance. Vaz te actually looked like he had a bit of confidence for once when he came on, maybe he's taken to carrying a hip flask or something. Overall I think Meite is my motm.

Agreed on all points. I am usually the first to slag RVT, but he looked pretty OK tonight, hopefully bodes well. Mind you, he came on for Stelios, and my 90 year old Grandmother would have been an improvement. Stelios is robbing a wage, get rid now!

True enough about Stelios, but what about poor Pedersen. He looked like he didn't know what was going on. Final minute he gets the ball and decides to take on 2 arsenal players using his blinding pace.

If you'd told Stelios you had a double-headed coin, asked him to call and flipped it he would have said tails - he couldn't do anything right last night.

I thought TBH was excellent and it was a great response to some of the idiots on here who thought he wouldn't be committed for the rest of the season.

Teymourian is very promising - he may be a bit lightweight but he was getting stuck in last night - a bit of weight-training in the summer and he could be a regular next season.

I thought RVT looked decent, but Tal and Ped looked a bit lost.

I think speed was still carrying a bit of an injury from the weekend, he never looked at full speed but still i thought did a reasonable job. Adrianik looked at least a bit lively unlike a lot of the team.

Your right about the support however that was all over the pitch, noone seemed willing to make themselves some space to be passed to. Cant remember the amount of times i was screaming for someone to "help him out"

At the end of it i feel we didnt deserve to lose the game certainly not 3-1 (and although i haven't seen any highlights i have to wonder how their third goal was not offside as soon as eboue touched the ball, but i suppose that is irrelevant to the final result)

I thought TBH did have a good game, but there are people on here who claim he should be left to rot in the reserves (or they did a couple of weeks ago anyway)

Meite was my MOTM though

Meite and Ben Haim were my motm

followed by Mr Chris Foy!

how often did meite get forward, thought he was bloody lothar matthias!

Meite was immense last night, he's been good all season but some of his play both defending and advancing with possession were fantastic.

There are a large group of pricks that sit near me who claimed he was shite after 3 or 4 games early this season, and jumped on his back for his passing and reading of the game. I took great pleasure in reminding them of that when they were lauding him under the stands after the game.

Ben Haim and Meite were outstanding, Anelka did alright considering service to him was minimal, and Diouf worked himself into the ground and was a constant pain in the arse.

However...

Take Ivan out of the Campo role and he ages ten years and gains around four stone.

Speed was awful for an hour but at least picked up as the game went on.

Stelios was involved in everything, deflecting their first goal past Jussi, clearing our best chance of the first half off the line, and forgetting what to do when presented with our best chance of the second (he wouldn't have given it a thought last season);

Nolan was virtually anonymous. Again.

Meite was my MOM by a mile. I wasn't too sure about him at the beginning of the season but he keeps getting better and better.
