Load Of Old Tosh

England are w?nk

That was the most boring 45 minutes of football I have seen in a long time, thank f?ck I decided not to go now.

Since when did hargreaves change his name to Batty???

harold ain't an international fullback.

Carragher can't play left back

lennon is kak

Johnson is kak

61% possesion, 58% of that possession was passes backwards.

BTW, Ben Haim is man of match so far, its amizing how you can see his true class when he is interested.

Sam you f?cked up big time by not sorting his contract out last year

agree entirely. if thats the best football the best english players in the country can offer, give me allardyce's percentage football every day of the week.

what the fcuk is all this passing in our own half about, fcuk off, complete shite!

Shite, ragging garbage, pathetic.

i'm going to the offy for a few beers ,fcuk it.

Agreed. What a load of rubbish. Almost wanted Israel to get the winner.

Now switching to Sky Sports 2. SA v Aus. Proper sport.

What a sh!t day. After 7 years wait and nearly a billion spent I was hoping for much much more from Wembley. I arrived to find the cash machines empty, the food sold out before the game and nothing more than a slightly bigger Ashburton Grove. I can only assume that all the money was spent on the corporate areas because for the average fan you have to wonder what the new stadium has which the old one didn't.

And then there was tonight's match...

I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again. Rooney and Johnson may have more talent and be more natural goalscorers but if Maclaren is going to ask Gerrard, Lampard and Hargreaves to float high ball after high ball into the box then I'd much rather have Davies fighting for it.

People might not like our style but at least we play a system that matches our players.

Now I'm off to get pissed.

I agree with your first sentance, this is winning football when you play the right players at the right time.

There's nothing wrong with keeping possession in our own half though if you can then build up from there. The second half looked a right shambles when the midfield (mainly Gerrard) was pumping high straight balls up to Rooney's head

Thing is though Zozzy, we passed the ball about our own half for about 5 minutes before hoofing it forwards for shrek and diver

I agree with you TSO. It was shite to watch.

I watched it in the pub with all the distractions that go with it (beer and chatting to other lads etc.) but from the bits that I did see Mclaren has got to decide whether he wants us to build up from the back and on the floor which should have suited the players that were on the field, or play the way we did in the second half in the air to the strikers,in which case he picked the wrong team without a target man like Kev Davies.

Also if you are going to play this way surely you have got to send the ball in from wider positions than straight down the middle, it looked like sunday league football at times. :angry2:

"TAL BEN Haim kept England's Wayne Rooney quiet as the Three Lions could only manage a goaless draw against Israel - a result that makes qualification for Euro 2008 even more difficult.

The Wanderers star was in outstanding form as he helped the Israeli defence to a shut out against the likes of Rooney, Jermain Defoe, Jermain Defoe and Frank Lamapard.

The resulkt leaves England lagging behin Croatia and group leaders Russia in the standings."

From BWFC site, obviously the results got them so depressed they forgot how to write properly.

The only positive I took out of the game is spoting a wanderers flag in the crowd.

Ainy......double fact

I couldn't even be arsed going the pub to watch it.

How many times will players who aren't performing for their country automatically start for England, due to McLarsen being a f?cking coward? Frank, Rio, Stevie, Wayne & co must be f?cking p?ssing themselves, they can put in 10% & the manager hasn't got the b?llocks to drop them.

P?ss poor management, p?ss poor players (yet the media still tries and tells us that the likes of Rio are truly 'world class' ). And yet still people still actually care about that national team

F?ck England, it's BWFC only for me.............until they sack that sack of sh?t anyway.

Very impressed with TBH

Watched in the pub until half time. That was enough but had half an eye on the second half at home. We lack guile and penetration to create real chances. As other have said why spend all that time passing it around the back 4 only to ultimately hoof it? Passing around the back 4 is a relic of the 70's, our defenders look awkward and ponderous doing it and need two touches. We aint gonna qualify from this group which is an embarrassment.

Watched the under 21's and my first thoughts onb "Wemberlee" are:

1. The pitch is too far from the stands, why have they done this?

2. The lower tier is too shallow

3. The other teirs are too far back

5. The pitch is shit and cut up after 5 mins

6. The hype generated by the southern based media is unfounded and we have ended up with a second rate stadium in the wrong place.

7. England will not win games there, its too open and there will be no atmsophere

Lennon was ok.

Gerrard, Lampard are shite for England, we need to look at other options. Strikers may have not even botherd turning up.

Rio is still shite.

Spot on. Whilst I was also disappointed by the non-football things like the food & drink, toilets etc. etc. it is the stadium which matters .... and it wasn't all that great. How they spent ?750m on it I'll never know.

I didn't watch it. Watched England vs Kenya at cricket instead. That's how bad I feel about England at the moment. Like AS says, it's just BWFC for me from now on as well

Re the Wemberley pitch, it was grown next to our last one, the one that needed replacing the moment the ballboys stepped on it.

Didn't watch Engerland and won't do whilst McClaren is in charge.

Sold 2 tickets for ?150 to some southern cock.

Some people have no brains

Can you tell them the ones for the real England games I can get through EnglandFans? :yahoo:

Very impressed with TBH

Told you the other day didn't I!!!

I had imposed a ban on England under McClaren but foolishly got all hyped up again and expected better

We dominated them but nobody had the balls to try something, least of all the manager

We ain't going to the Euros, no f?cking way

We've lost to Croatia and they've already won in Israel. And the draw at home to Macedonia was equally as damaging as the defeat to Croatia.

Croatia beat Macedonia at home Saturday so they're 7 points ahead of England already

We're competing for 2nd with Russia who are no mugs either.

Think 2nd place teams play-off against each other to get to the finals.

Edit - just checked qualification

There are 7 Qualifying Groups. Top two in each go through. No play-offs.

Those 14 along with the two hosts make the 16 finalists.

We HAVE to beat the Russki's home and at least draw away, simple as that. Croatia are out of sight now.

But let's be honest, draws to Macedonia and Israel just show that we are, in fact, sh?te. People need to come round to that fact.

F?cking FA. We all knew what would happen if McLaren got the job. Why didn't they?
